Turning off DU is going to be like crimping the garden hose for a bit and letting it go, except we will get the following instead of a rush of water:
1. Bouncies upon bouncies: "So, I was out at the bank/grocery store/doctor/dentist today, and there was an old lady/typical repuke/guy in a $1000 suit, and she/he said out loud..."
2. Outrage at the sites that stayed online while DU was off: "I can't believe www.chickswithdicks.com is ONLINE today. FASCISTS."
3. Warmed-over communism recast as an epiphany: "This outage really gave me time to think about healthcare in the United States..."
4. Poetry: "I took the time to sit and observe the world around me...really get in tune with it again. I wrote this poem about Noam Chomsky petting my deceased cat while gazing over a meadow of buffaloes destroyed by white settlers, all with the surname Bush. Hope you like it..."

Damn! I should have known better but I clicked on "www.chickswithdicks.com"
...and thankfully all I got was a black screen and computer freeze. So, it would appear, at least to me, that the perverts are sticking together and, of all things, boycotting the net.
