Drug raid nets 96 San Diego State students

Authorities say nearly 100 students have been arrested at San Diego State University on drug-related charges.

Drugs, cash and guns were seized from sellers and buyers in the bust that followed a five-month undercover operation.

The San Diego County district attorney's office says the 96 arrests include fraternity members. Defendants are scheduled to appear in state court to face charges Tuesday afternoon.

my husband was just telling me about a big drug raid here locally (in our old town of Sammamish, Wa) right behind the public elementary school that our daughter went to for kindergarten.

apparently a mortgage company helped the drug dealers buy a house and the operation was going on for a while before they got busted.. some guns were found and because of its proximity to the elementary school, harsher penalties are now facing these kids.

i wonder if the same happens on a college campus?

but yeah, heck of a way to start the summer..!

I think the CDOCR has a degree program at Pelican Bay, Chino and San Quentin. They can take full advantage of that during their "break".

Not sure....but there parents must be so proud of their spawn.

Guns on a college campus???????....they should be prohiba......oh yeah, right, they are. Naughty, naughty breaking the rules like that.
