Anyone here, deep in their heart, an Anarchist?
I don't mean necessarily politically, but one who holds deep feelings of anti-authority.
One who believes authority and respect should be earned and not simply given
One who detests authority of all forms, and sees it as the ultimate corrupter?
One who feels that more work gets done in a communal fashion, than in a hierarchical one...
Because that's me

I think our old buddy wants to be on the Top Dummy list in perpetuity.

30. You are quite right!!! The way the system works most people get F'ed over by
the system. And lots of people will never stand a chance to get ahead the way it's working now. And what systems were in place to help those trying to get ahead TPTB keep taking away. Speaking of assholes, I sure hope Walker in WI gets recalled. That, is one prick that deserves it. Last I heard, they now have enough signatures to put his recall vote on a ballet.
"Ballot"
Yep, the man is ****ing us over. It's all "the man's" fault. Well RKP, last I heard, "the man" you hate so much (Scott Walker) balanced our budget, and pulled a massive, and heavy ribbed $3+ billion dollar, diamond encrusted dildo out of the proverbial collective asses of all of us Wisconsinites that Doyle shoved in centimeter by centimeter thoughout his time as our Gov. Oh, and Walker did this without raising taxes, by the way. What I mean to say is simply that he substituted nothing. He let our hindquarters breath. He understands that it's an "exit hole only."
So keep up with your jibberish, RKP. Decent and civilized people know who the REAL "man" is that are "****ing society" as a collective whole.
Democrats.

55. By the way-
yes-Walker will face a challenge--BUT-there is no strong Dem to take him on. I fear this will be for naught.[/quote]
Don't fear it DUmbass. Embrace it.

How does one become an authoritarian anarchist and yet still cede authority to the Government?

I am thinking the same thing. Not only is he willing to allow the government to have that authority, he is begging for it.

Anarchists are quacks. That's where I met daveman in 2002, at the SF Indymedia site where we were both laughing at them.
Somehow they've got this notion that with no heirarchy (gov't), that all people will mutually work together for the common good. Mention to them that because of personality types there will be emergent leaders, and they'll tell you it won't be permitted, that the community will see to it those who would gain prominence among them will be shunned by the people. They've got an answer for everything that has nothing to do with the reality of how the world has always operated.
I could see how this drugged-out kook would find it appealing.

This one of my biggest questions I have had of the liberals/DUmmies for years.
I see them complain and complain about government. Yes there is a lot of complaining about corporations/rich also but I think that has ramped up in the Obama admin. Mainly they complain about the government but at the same time, as you said, are willing to allow the government even more power and authority. I go back to the field day they had with the wire taps in the Bush admin. Do they have any idea of the invasion of privacy that would take place under their little utopia(ie. Communist/Socialist goverment)?
I saw nutcasenadine complaing about FEMA, SEC, and a long list of other government authorities... I wanted to slap her.
I know we can't find logic in their arguments, but dear lord DUmmies open your ****ing eyes.

Taverner, the incompetent, leading the unwilling, doing what's right.
He must be having serious withdrawals. The government check is already used up and it's a long time until the first of the month.

Brilliant, simply brilliant, and this is why people like us aren't allowed to post there at all, they'd be pwn'd everytime!

Tavenrer and his ilk at DU cannot be anarchists. They need a massive govt so they can suckle off the govt teat.
In an anarchist society, everyone works, no one gets to lay back and do drugs all day.
-
Kinda like being nice to the taliban. If there really was anarchy the drug addict loser unemployables that inhabit DU would be the first on the firing line.

Reminds me of the London riots from last year where the anarchists were protesting government cuts. Guess you need to be on the dole in order to finance your anarchist lifestyle. ::)

Simple. One controls the government, so it does only what one wants done. These assholes call themselves anarchists, but they all absolutely LOVE authority, as long as they are the only ones who get to wield it. It's only bad when someone else, with whom they disagree, has authority over them.
