First Lady says she's tired of people portraying her as "some kind of angry black woman."

First lady Michelle Obama is challenging assertions she's forcefully imposed her will on White House aides, saying she's tired of people portraying her as "some kind of angry black woman."
Mrs. Obama tells CBS News she hasn't read New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor's new book that characterizes her as a behind-the-scenes force in the Executive Mansion, whose strong views often draw her into conflict with President Barack Obama's top advisers.
"I never read these books," she told CBS's Gayle King in an interview broadcast Wednesday. "So I've just gotten in the habit of not reading other people's impressions of people."
In the interview, Mrs. Obama said, "I love this job. It has been a privilege from day one."
"I do care deeply about my husband," Mrs. Obama said in the CBS appearance. "I am one of his biggest allies. I am one of his biggest confidants." But she sought to put aside "this notion that I sit in meetings."
"I guess it's just more interesting to imagine this conflicted situation here," she said. "That's been an image people have tried to paint of me since the day Barack announced, that I'm some kind of angry black woman."
"There will always be people who don't like me," Mrs. Obama added, and said she could live with that.

the First Ladies will become targets when they arrive. It is a game with political entities in D.C. Cattiness doesn't begin to describe it. Mrs Obama is handling it well. I haven't read the book about the Obamas, just excerpts, but I know a play for money when I see it and this book is trying to be a money-grabber.
You need to go back and look at DUs treatment of Laura Bush.

BS. If Michelle were handling it well, she wouldn't talk about it bothering her. Laura Bush handled the leftist attacks on her with grace and aplomb, she never gave credence to the unwarranted attacks on her. She was a lady with class and not a low class thug from Chicago.

The 12 or so DUmmies rallying round the bitch just can't counteract the countless photos of Michelle floating around. She only takes a good photo when she's ready, like the official WH portrait, which looks very nice. Any other time she has the nastiest, angriest, bitterest, foulest face, and snap goes the camera.

In almost every picture I have ever seen of her she either looks pissed, bored, has nothing contempt for the person she is looking at, or a fake smile with dull eyes and bared fangs.
If her real personality is even close to what I see in her pics then I can kind of understand sticking her on a sperate plane all the time.

Sorry DUmbasses but for someone to state that they are finally proud of this country after living here for 40 plus years means that persons inner soul or being is consumed with hate and rage.
It has nothing inherently to do with her race or sex other then they were more things drummed into her shallow liberal mind convincing her she has been put upon through life.
Anger is one of the most basic emotions we have,it is seen in infants and that is the emotional maturity one has to keep to be a liberal.

Indeed. It appears that Michelle only has two facial expressions that she knows how to use:
1. (When she knows cameras are on her) A big, fake- looking smile of the sort you'd see on the faces of beauty pageant contestants and red carpet celebrities.
2. (When she is unaware that cameras are on her) An ugly, bitter grimace practically dripping with malice and hatred.
