A couple points in the shade of gray department
Yup, the other day I got a double whammy here... and been debating whether to raise the issue. And yes, I will.
1.- If you are a critic of Presidential policies that automatically does not mean you are a racist...
2.- For that matter it does not mean you are an East Coast, latte drinking, limo riding liberal (odd to see a Rush Limbaugh tm attack here, but that is another story)
I have noticed that this line of attack is just starting to increase from the already high levels. It also tells me something else, if we need to go for the ad hominem attacks, perhaps it means we cannot defend ideas on their merits.
So to be clear... some of us will continue to be critical when deserved, and will also applaud when deserved.
For example, I am quite the critic of the NDAA signing, in spite of the signing statements. I can see how the society is closing and getting ready for something quite not nice. Save your defense for somebody else. And yes, the statement makes it just a tad less bad.
On the other hand BRAVO in using that recess appointment and getting Richard Cordray in place. About bloody time to use that, and that includes the three members of the NLBR.
In a democracy, and I know this is a hard concept to understand, political leaders are to be criticized when deserved That is what CITIZENS do. Consumers do as told and will file in line and do as told. But CITIZENS are independent thinkers.
In fact, there was a time when doing that was considered the duty of the citizen.
On the other hand, to receive such weak arrows had me at first confused... who is impersonating Rush? But then again, it also told me how weak the claims are at this point. It is like discussing things that matter to adults with... well won't say it.
But as they say, in the real world where I live... there are shades of gray... and not everything is a manichean fight between good and evil. So if we are going to have adult discussions, it is time to grow beyond that really thin skin... and no, not everybody is a racist, or swimming in dough... given I have been spending way too much time in the actual streets... that was a funny one. In fact, I am still chucking over that one... we somehow, automatically do not care about the good things the Administration has gotten, why we spend our time, drinking lattes, riding limos (we wish), and counting our dough. Bizarre is the only way I'd actually characterize that.
Nadin
PS. Now that I have gotten out of my chest, can we start discussing things?

1.- If you are a critic and a dmeocrat/liberal/socialist of Presidential policies that automatically does not mean you are a racist...
Fixed it to conform to DUmp think.

Now that I have gotten out of my chest, can we start discussing things? ...OK, which one of y'all put her in a box? Dammit, lock it next time.

Yup, the other day I got a double whammy here... and been debating whether to raise the issue. And yes, I will.
1.- If you are a critic of Presidential policies that automatically does not mean you are a racist...
...unless your criticism derives from one of the following: The Constitution, law, Separation of Powers, or State's Rights
We've been telling you for years that resorting to ad hominem attacks means you lost the argument. Nadin Godwin's Law, idiot.

Ooooh, a signing statement. That's a real firm firewall against civil rights breaches. Also, didn't Candidate Obama say he wouldn't use them?
On the other hand BRAVO in using that recess appointment and getting Richard Cordray in place. About bloody time to use that, and that includes the three members of the NLBR.
Nevermind that the Senate wasn't in recess. Why let a technicality like the Constitution get in the way of his wishes?

This isn't a democracy, libtard. It is a representative republic. Also, you'll line up and do as you're told at the voting booth, won't you? Way to consume the Democratic kool-aid.
In fact, there was a time when doing that was considered the duty of the citizen.

She could read my comments a thousand times a day until the heat death of the universe and not understand it. Why do I bother?

Heard this on talk radio so it may be...uh...well gossip only.
A caller said he had called Lindsay Grahams office and was told by an aide that they were putting together a lawsuit against Obama's last appointment.

I am still chucking over that one...
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck....
Actually, if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
Now that I have gotten out of my chest, can we start discussing things?
Not just another nifty nadinism.
In DUmmy mythsaje's intergalactic vampire sex crime novels, his villains spend the daylight hours inside a chest.
I think nadin is reaching a tipping point on bloodshed.

But has she crossed the Rubicon on the bloodshed? :???:

No, bitch.

At the DUmp? No way. The hive must survive and discussion is not allowed. Tow the party line or get the pizza.
It always amazes me that these assholes think that they have anything bordering discussion or tolerance of others points of view. That is some heavy duty mental illness.

I'm confused. She's out of her chest, but in a coup.
I am readying everything she writes, but it's hard to slug through it.

Sadly for you, it does mean you are a racist. You leftists made that reality. Deal with it.

I ploughed through it. The whole thing.
I thought there was something wrong with the yenta's use of "manichean," and yep, I was right.
Manichaeism presented an elaborate description of the conflict between the spiritual world of light and the material world of darkness.
I haven't yet seen a primitive who isn't the epitome of materialism, so one wonders which "world" they are.

If I didn't know better I would think Nads is Vesta's mole ( or vice versa ). It appears they had the same ESL teacher. :hammer:

Can we have a jury vote please on whether or not Good Citizen should go on the Resume!
I say no.

You're an anti-nadinite.

Actually stupid DUnt. This is used to describe the "liberal elite." We know you and your Occupy friends could never afford a Limo. And please get it right, the attach on the liberal elite in its entirety.
Tax-hiking, government-expanding, latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New York Times-reading, body-piercing, Hollywood-loving, left-wing freak show.
In fact, I am still chucking over that one...
I wish I was chucking your head somewhere right now.

I have to disagree with you on this, Bally. I say "yes."
So, that's two jury members. 1-1.
