From the Daily Mail:
She was billed as one of the most ‘boring people of her era’ while her performance was slammed as monochromatic and lacking charisma.
So it may come as no surprise then, that Chelsea Clinton’s much-hyped deal with NBC may already be coming to an end.
Her original contract was only for 90 days and sources say it is unlikely she will extend this.
The NYP has more, including a carefully worded NBC denial:
Her contract is for only 90 days, and while she’ll provide the network with two more stories, sources say it is not certain she’ll immediately sign again …
… Our source said NBC “created unrealistic expectations. Chelsea wanted a 90-day contract to see if she liked it. It’s possible she will do more for NBC in the future, [but] she doesn’t know if she’ll sign another contract.â€
An NBC News rep said, “100 percent false. You will see more pieces from Chelsea. She has been warmly welcomed into this news division, and we can’t be more pleased with her work. We hope she will be with us for a long time. There was no over-hyping of her role.â€
If you watched her debut segment, it was around eight minutes of your life that you’ll never get back.
Washington Post:
what was surprising to see on Monday night’s show is how someone can be on TV in such a prominent way and, in her big moment, display so very little charisma — none at all. Either we’re spoiled by TV’s unlimited population of giant personalities or this woman is one of the most boring people of her era.

Chelsea who?
-
Awww, that's too bad..........................not.
-
TFB. Go get a real job by yourself, without any help.
-
Well, I sorta equate children of presidents in the same way that the Kennedy mob views themselves.
They're "special" people and, as such, they find it hard to blend in.
Take Chelsea, for example.
Please.

The children of Presidents that make a name for themselves are few.
Trying to remember if it was Truman's daughter Margret that sang and played the piano so bad the President had a hissie fit over her bad reviews.
Much fun watching the Children of a President grow up be it for 4 or 8 years.
Of all the kids I believe Chelsea got the crap end of the stick. Not easy growing up and having to defend both Mom and Dad from accusations to the world. Who wants to be raised by parents like hers???
Now Bush and his twin girls had his hands full, what the heck his girls were just normal kids that had their ups and downs-----difference was their downs were splashed all over the tabloids.
John Kennedy JR. had one heck of a life, lost his father at 3 years old, the kid was under press scrutiny all his short life. His sister Caroline, has been also watched and made fun of by the press when she for some odd reason decided to go into State politics 40 years after her father was killed.
So Chelsea lacks charisma, what ever the heck that means. Is this not a term used to describe the many despots in the world, oh that silver tongued devil.

Yup--definitely looks like her daddy.

She always struck me as a boring person. Much better suited for analysis of numbers than in front of a TV camera. I never recall her having anything to say. Is she still married?
Gina, your lookalike comparison was :lmao:

It does go a long way to explaining why she put up with his philandering for so long without a sqawk.

Ah yes, the Clinton crime family reunion. Chelsa and Truman's daughter an interesting pair.

Give me a break here, I have 2 kids that inherited my brown eyes and 2 who caught the blue eyed gene from their father.
Who knows what the DNA and gene selection will do to a baby. I had a friend who had a grandpa that was Irish and she of dark color gave birth to a baby girl with bright green eyes and the rest was African American.
Ever run into someone that thinks you are someone else. Darn you could be a twin for them. This can cause problems when the police pick you up and you have to call Mom to know if you had a twin.
Chelsea has as we all do have the random DNA that formed her. Some from both parents and the lost DNA from the thousands of people on both sides of the family going back centurarys
Then the reason baby's adopted at birth come to resemble their parents, they pick up the mannerisms of the parent, copy their facial expressions, their hand and eye movements.
Please don't put Chelsea in a box that says she resembles someone else other then family.
Crap there are kids born to everyday people or even to those in 3'rd word country's that at the age of 2 can do mathematics, play the piano, stun people with their ability and the parents are at a loss, where did this come from.

Point made.

Yeah, once in awhile vesta swings and gets a base hit.
And, regardless who Chelsea's daddy is, she's still going by her stage name of Chelsea Clinton. (Gotta capitalize on Daddy's name -- 'cause he learned her good.)

Never had this happen, vesta.
