Dearest taterguy,  Robert's Rules of Order is not something that is "invoked."   It is the ruling order of the meeting.  Once the council chose to use it when  they voted on their bylaws it rules supreme.  Perhaps the moron council was reminding everyone they have meeting procedure that must be followed?

H5.  I thought the same thing earlier, and tried to find a video clip of Victor Quartermaine invoking Queensbury rules, but couldn't track one down.  :-)

Yes, it would. I just copied the error for the sake of consistency.
