Nutcase nadin, an expert on Ivy League curricula, gives us an example of how people graduate from college with a worthless degree, a huge debt, and no job prospects.
They can waste their time taking a course on how to crap on a police cruiser.
Then they can blame their utter failure in life on the successful people who manage banks and investment houses.

Columbia University to offer a course on the Occupy movement
http://www.justiceunited.net/2012/01/columbia-university-students-to-study.html
Now that tells you where we are going politically. For the record, those taking Poli Sci at a local junior college last semester, dealign the MODERN US Politics had no textbook. THere is none dealing with EITHER the Tea Party or the Occupy movement.
But this is one of the important markers as to movements having any kind of influence. This is one of the top colleges in the nation offering a course on it.

This could be the Course That Finally Changed Everything.
I wonder if the Chinless 'Bama Butterball will sign up.
This should be right down her alley.
Wonder if we'll ever hear from the little pompous porker again.

1. Unfortunately
It's also a 1%er college that's churned as many Wall Streeters and lobbyists as any single other institution, whose tuition puts it far out of the reach of the common man.
This is what getting one's movement co-opted by the powers that be looks like - the children of the privileged studying it like a formaldehyde-preserved frog dissected in biology class.
Well, I guess this DUmmy has finally identified an advantage to being a common man.

2. Why I mentioned my local Junior College as well
but it is also where plenty of historians that went on to challenge and question were also educated. Granted, it is also the center of Economic History, and political history, don't get me started.
For "dangerous content" and photos go here...http://nadinbrzezinski.posterous.com/
Don't get her started.
She knows so much about Columbia University, it would take days, and hundreds of nadinisms, to pass along her wisdom.

Advice for Nadin: Leaves of three, leave 'em be....awh hell, it's Nadin, get naked and roll it.

Colleges & universities are money making ventures. If people are willing to pay money to take a course in something, there will be someone willing to teach that course.

Tell ya what, nads, since you're lurking here, or at least getting info from other DUmmies:
Name all the Ivy League schools without using Teh Google or Teh Wiki.
C'mon, I dare ya. Hell, I'll settle for you telling me how many Ivy League schools exist. (Hint: 8.)

When will Nada start explaining low calorie eating, personal training, and general peak fitness programs?

I'd like her to explain where the term "Ivy League" came from.
No, Nads, no google for that, either.

No, stupid, it doesn't. What it tells you is that CU is interested in fleecing the trust fund retards to make a buck.

Marv and docstew, great minds and all. :-) That was my very first thought.
We may see adjunct professor added to the Nadin resume list soon. She's plugged in, trending, you know, perfect for the job. :lmao:
The school can pay her in batteries.

Now that you mention it, I'm tempted to do the same.
Kinda figure one of yours, is worth two of mine, so I'll leave it be. :-)

Well, the one comment I will make is to say that the comment about Columbia being out of reach of the common man is wrong...my daughter applied to Columbia, and they are very clear about the fact that any accepted student with financial need will be able to go. They combine grants, work/study and loans (they limit the amount of loans), so yes, anyone that can get in can go.
And yes, nads is nuts.
