Protesters hit by car press for driver's arrest (Oakland)

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The two protesters struck by a car during the Occupy Oakland strike nine days ago now have lawyers. They want to know why police haven't arrested the driver of the car for attempted murder.

Attempted murder is a serious charge, but the protesters and their lawyers believe this was a serious crime. The lawyers, who held a news conference at Jack London Square Friday, said cell phone videos and witness accounts prove that the driver was angry, aggressive, and tried to pick a fight after he stopped his car.

"We want this person arrested for the attempted murder of myself and Margaret," said Lance laverdure who was hit by the car.

Margaret So is his friend who was also injured. She said in her videotaped interview that she is still waiting to talk to police.

Sandusky out on bail, this guy not arrested, and the one in DC not arrested... patterns, I love them.

3. + Brazillion

Brazillion?   Uh.....

Brazillian
A thin stripped, close shaven, pubic trim. A pubic cut that allows women to wear extremely revealing bathing apparel. A pube trim usually used by woman.

Nadin while seemingly proficient with the ways of the Google, appears to have missed the critical chapter "Is it really even a word?  how to Google to find out."

The kid should be arrested for destruction of property which was quite outrageous, but the vehicle operator could have killed them.  No idea why he hasn't been charged yet.

Not sure how the law reads but if I have a vermin blocking my way, pounding on the hood of my vehicle I am going to view that as a threat to my safety.
Also perhaps add some panic and anger and rather and a difficult situation arises.
I am not advocating running a person down but given the overall situation and provocation from the sewer rat in the street I can see why no charges have been brought at this time.

There are other youtube videos of the aftermath.   The driver of this vehicle is in his car just waiting, and the misfits surround the police car and start pounding on it -- I can totally see how he was in fear for his safety.

Pain is the appropriate repair for "stupid."  If the person run down was a child, the driver would bear the blame.  A moron standing in front of a car and pounding on it deserves to get hit.

Look at the third definition . . .

Quote
3.  brazillian  95 up, 219 down
An extremely high number, often cited by people of a less than average intelligence.
Example: Man, there must have been a brazillian of them!

Well, she qualifies for the "less than average intelligence" part.

The way I look at it, I don't drive on their sidewalks, they don't walk in my streets.

A place for everything, and everything in its place.

It's one of the on-going 'jokes' at the DUmp, akin to spelling moron with an 'a' (moran). During the terrible terrible times of Pres. Bush Jnr's administration (back when people had jobs) a joke went round the internet which the DUmp loved. Something about a briefing to the President including reference to a Brazilian soldier being killed, and the President asking how many a brazilian is...pretty naff joke, which explains why the DUmp is still telling it years later.

You give Nadin far too much credit for making the connection, and GWB is not a junior and conservatives would never refer to him as such.

It has become standard terminology at the DUmp...that being my point.

I used the term as he is younger than the other President Bush (being his son), I fear I'm a stickler for terminology, it no more reflects a view of the former president than reference to S. James the Less (standard terminology) means that the Apostle was less than S. James the Great.

GHWB, GWB -- that is how historians make the distinction, and is pretty much how conservatives do also.

Raising an eyebrow here.
