I did my first day after Christmas shopping yesterday and I got the best stuff! I bought all of my lights for the house for next Christmas for 1/2 off! I am so excited!
Anyone else get good deals or can direct me to where the great deals are for next year?

You could have saved a lot of time and 100% of your money. Just leave the current decorations up until next year...I have seen that done.
Long ago, I had a large, full, well shaped cedar tree in the front yard. The "X" liked to have lights on it every year. The last year it had lights was hell. I had to stand in the bucket of a frontend loader and stretch to get the lights to the top. Almost fell out sevral times so when Christmas was over I just left them in the tree until JUNE. Everytime the outside lights were turned on the tree lite up... :rotf: The "X" finally agreed that if I would take them down she wouldn't ask me to put them back on the tree at Christmas time.

Right around Exit 27 of I-87 near Schroon Lake, there's a house that is right along the southbound lanes that has lights that spell out "MERRY CHRISTMAS," and the owners have them up all year long. They don't light them except for a couple weeks around Christmas, but they never take the things down.

:lmao: I believe they have some extended family living around here.

Remember the NY23 House race in 2009? It caused enough of a stir to have some of the conservative national magazines snooping around. A guy from Weekly Standard was tooling around up here, and noticed all the lights still up into, I dunno, March? He attributed it to "depression." Well, that depends on how complicated the installation was.
