You defend this country and come back home and you then have to face crazed Americans by being shot and paralyzed

Nadin and a dummy by the name of Abin Sur argue about guns and gun laws.  Nadin brings her experience as a medic into the conversation (of course).

It's kind of funny to see DUmmies argue about guns.

feels the same way...

And the only reason we even bought what we have is because of what hubby wanted to do (use them in professional capacity)... that did not pan out. One of these years I will talk him into selling them...

We are both combat vets in a way... having seen what an AK can do to a real human body.

Not to denigrate his service, but I have to wonder how much combat her husband saw as a Quartermaster?  Or maybe she means her BIL, who knows with nadin.

The damage an AK47 can do??

If the lying nads was a paramedic, the damage she would have seen was from 9mm. That's the gang bangers choice.

It really is being pretty greedy to deprive society in general and those with health needs of nads not to still be bravely saving lives out in the trenches.

She was supposedly a medic in a third world country. So she could have possibly seen something like that.
But as far as her combat veteran comment she can kiss my DD214 having ass.

In the democrat world, there are only two small arms.

If it's a handgun, it's a "nine", made by Glock.

It's all-plastic, and it's invisible to X-rays.

It uses two types of ammunition, teflon-coated copkillers, and "dum-dum". (Neither of which exist.)

If it's a long gun, it's an AK47.

And AK47s are always fully automatic.

AK47s are the most powerful weapons known to mankind, and would be an overkill on an elephant hunt.

There is nothing else.

When you learn all the above, you can be a democrat gun expert like our old friend DUmotex.

I wager any one of my longarms would do a sight more damage than an "AK" on a shot for shot basis.

Just can't figure out why some people seem to think they're some kind of bad-ass rifle, as opposed to an ass-bad rifle.

and again the FAL is truly my all time favorite for the humor factor... even the civilian version... it does have a funny safety issue.

What safety issue? If it ha issues, I'm unaware of them.

I've never owned an AK, have no desire for such a miserable piece of shit, though they're reputed to reliably go bang when the trigger is pulled.

That's their only positive attribute, in my opinion.

Appearance-wise they're uglier than Warpy or CalPig, though black-rifle enthusiasts don't seem to care about appearance.

The round itself is half-assed, within the universe of centerfire cartridges, with less power than the vast majority of deer rifle chamberings.

AKs are tools, with good points (Like reliability) and bad points (Not particularly accurate, and firing a round with very modest ballistics).

In the world of tools, DUers are unique, since although everyone generally considers them to be tools, they lack any good points.

DAT, they do make reasonably good targets.

No they don't.  Sacks of excrement splatter like crazy whenever you hit them, no matter what you hit them with.  You spend 3 times the amount of time cleaning up the area as you did actually shooting when you use DUmbasses as targets.

An AK-47 is a very accurate, deadly weapon,....

...if you can talk the intended victim into holding the muzzle close to their head or heart.

All that and one only needs about ten minutes to teach some illiterate, khat chewing, jihadi everything they will ever need to know about the weapon.

I do loves me some FN/FAL.  Mine is a Century, built on an Imbel metric receiver.  My oldest son has an inch rifle, last year for his Christmas I got all the necessary US parts and did the conversion to full military config on it (Basically it was a C1A1 build with the horribly awkward 'Butthole' stock, also from Century...unfortunately the receiver was actually Canadian-made, and it did take some scrounging to get enough good quality US parts to convert an inch gun, without having to resort to counting magazine parts).

And just what's so special about you, Mr. Charm and Personality, that you can get filthy, LAZY DUmbshits to clean up anything??  DUmbasses don't even wipe their own asses after defecation; the crap just kinda gets knocked off as they probe the deep recesses of their mind for new, great ideas.

Doc, correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember a lot of military (including Navy) doctors doing ER rotations/training in places like King-Drew and USC Medical Centers in Los Angeles back in the day.

My understanding was that they'll see a lot more 9mm/7.62mm wounds from the sideways shooting gang-bangers and those with the shitty SKS copies than they would have seen pretty much anywhere else.

I doubt Nads is aware there are several handguns out there that put the mediocre AK/SKS round to shame.
Stupid Nads.

I myself have done that rotation. Nothing like going to work surrounded by gangs. I don't know how the permanent staff does it. Most of what we worked on was 9mm and smaller.
But from my understanding nad's experience is all in Mexico where one can obtain an AK or knock off pretty cheap.

Even then they can't use any caliber used by the military or police. That's why the 38 super is the most popular caliber in Mexico.
