My dad sometimes changes stories to be anti-Republican when reading to my nieces.

That seems to be a common trait with the democrat party.

1. I used to become feminist reading kids stories when I babysat

the gal never married the prince and lived happily ever after; she kicked his ass to the curb, got a degree, launched a career and had her pick of men

That's why you end up with losers that you have to support while they stay home posting on DU.

Perhaps you should take things less seriously?

Another one who's not as smart as she thinks she is.

17. Hope nieces listened. Republican bigotry, callousness, dogma, etc., is bad.

Are you LoZoccolo's Dad?

(Typing on a 7" notebook balanced on my knee sucks)

Reminded me of that old joke:

A man asked a woman to marry him. She said no. He got over his heartbreak and bought cars, went out with friends, and lived happily ever after.

That old joke reminded me of this old joke :

Q. Why to men die sooner than women ?

A. Because they want to.

Or:

Q. Why do married men live longer than single men?

A.  They don't, it just seems longer.

Their(republicans) 'dogma' is bad? Yeah, cause "this" is what all normal people do when reading young children bedtime stories. They insert ridiculous political stands into make believe STORIES. Reality is harsh enough, can't kids enjoy the fantasy for a little bit of prince charming, wicked witches dying, and life happily ever after? You'd think since they dwell in the land of fantasy ie eat the rich and public healthcare for all, they'd understand that fairytales are just fantasy too....
