Claptrap, just plain ****ing Claptrap

Gay issues, Occupy the city or monument of your choice, the Tea Party, silly Republican Candidates, all if these are just diversions compared to the President signing into law the power to put you and me into military prisons without any due process of any kind - for as long as you and I live.

The Constitution is being utterly shredded, your very freedom is on the line, and still we are flooded by claptrap, just plain ****ing Claptrap. And if anyone thinks that Obama is one god damned single bit different than Bush on the matters of the rights of the individual vs. the State they are out of their mind.

Constitutional Scholar, indeed. Of course so is John Yoo.

And we aren't given any possibility of voicing our disagreement by voting, since the opposition is completely insane.

2. I agree 100%

Obama is a VERY dangerous man. Every bit as power hungry and untrustworthy as Bush. He doesn't care about you or me or the Constitution.

After all is said and done, the Constitution is just a 'god damned piece of paper'. Right Pres?

How long before the Obamapoligists show up and tell us why the nullification of the 4th and 14th Amendments is a good thing.

3. someone, somewhere, hated democracy so much...

....that a relative unknown congressman was allowed to ascend to the presidency in a manner that projected him as the fulfillment of the civil rights movement -- something even most white liberals took to heart and cheered -- and all the while knowing that he would be turned into a tool of repression.

This hoax is a product of the most hateful minds and hearts. Dare I say "fascist-loving" minds and hearts.

Anybody know to whom the grasswire primitive's referring, in this odd comment, ".....a relative [sic] unknown congressman was allowed to ascend to the presidency....."

The pie-and-jam lady may be referring to Lyndon Johnson, but he wasn't any "relatively unknown congressman."

Maybe Gerald Ford?

I dunno.

Another primitive has the same question, but the grasswire primitive never gets around to answering:

5. Are you refeing to Obama? He was a senator.

And who are these "fascist-loving" minds you refer to?

4. Except that it doesn't give the President 'power to put you and me into military prisons without any

due process of any kind'.

It specifically states 'non-citizens'.

That doesn't mean I like it, I don't. But let's stick to reality.

Just sayin'.

The BeHereNow primitive, one of the 1%, luxuriating by her private swimming pool in southern California:

6. But Halliburton built all those detention centers!

Must fill them with some people- keep the stockholders happy and all that...

What country is this anyway??????

I don't recall being born HERE.

That's just it... you didn't think.  You bought into a marketing gimmick, an empty suit, and a bunch of vague and worthless promises from a Chicago policitian who spent millions of dollars hiding any hint of his past.

But the left is against people having to carry "papers" to prove they are citizens, so the feds can grab and detain anyone that doesn't provide identification immediately and on the spot.

DUmmies whining about individual rights being trampled seems quite odd.

Now hold on just one second there.  I thought Emperor Bush and Darth Cheney had signed such things into law way back when. Of course I get all my news and commentary from DU so it's unpossible that I have been misinformed..

Man !

After the shredding that Emperor Bush and Darth Cheney gave that thing I'm surprised there's anything left to shred.  Of course I get all my news and commentary from DU so it's unpossible that I have been misinformed..

I rowed over just to see if there were any desperate Obama cheerleaders.  None.  But, someone posted an article about Cass Sunstein, written by Glen Greenwald on Salon.  Lefty cred, all.  Now, at Moonbattery we followed Cass and sounded alarm bells about his creepy totalitarianism and addiction to government control.  I have learned the Left hate him as much as the Right.

I thought Haliburton was in partnership with Target and Walmart to build "those detention centers" back during the BFEE days.  Both retail giants were going to use the "slave" labor of the detainees to manufacture the products sold in the stores, in return, the detainees got free room, board, and health care.

I read this at both the DUmp and FreeRepublic, so it MUST be the truth!
