Gore did not win by 540,000 recorded votes in 2000...he won by 5-7 million.

First there was the 2000 Judicial Coup and then the long-running media con that Bush really did win Florida, although Gore won nationally by 540,000 votes.
It wasn't the close race the media has misled you to believe. Gore did much, much better than his official recorded vote - nationally as well as in Florida.
Let's take another look.
This article links to a) the 1988-2008 unadjusted state exit poll data and b) the 1988-2008 State and National True Vote Model (both are Google Doc spreadsheet workbooks):
http://richardcharnin.wordpress.com/2011/11/21/unadjusted-state-exit-polls-indicate-that-al-gore-won-a-mini-landslide-in-2000/
Al Gore won the unadjusted state exit polls (58,000 respondents) by 50.8-44.4%, a 6 MILLION VOTE MARGIN compared to the 540,000 recorded. There were nearly 6 MILLION UNCOUNTED votes - the great majority were Gore votes.
The True Vote Model, based on 1996 and 2000 votes cast, was a close match to Gore's exit poll share. He had a 50.0% True Vote share assuming he had 75% of 8 million returning 1996 voters (whose ballots for Clinton were uncounted) and 75% of 6 million uncounted votes in 2000.
Gore won the unadjusted exit poll in the following 13 states:
AL AR AZ CO FL GA MN MO NC NM TN TX VA
But all flipped to Bush. Gore would have won the election if he held just ONE of them.
The election was stolen big-time. But the theft was just a prologue of what was to come in 2004 and 2008.
Yes, he won his home state of TN as well as FL. He even won the exit poll in TX, Bush's home state, by 4% (the TX exit poll margin of error was 4%). But I bet you never knew that.
The exit poll/recorded vote margin discrepancy exceeded 10% in 10 states:
TX AL NC TN GA AR ID MD SC FL
In 2004, Kerry won the True Vote in a landslide - by nearly 10 million votes. The election was stolen big-time. The margin discrepancy exceeded 10% in 15 states: VT DE AK CT SC VA NJ HI NH MS PA UT MN NM OH
In 2008, Obama's landslide was denied. He did much, much better than his recorded 9.5 million vote margin. The 10% margin discrepancy was exceeded in an astounding 28 states.

Gore DID win Minnesota and New Mexico.
http://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/
And you really expect me to believe that Gore really won Texas? That Bush's 1.3 million margin was the result of cheating? That Gore won a state where his opponent was Governor and that Clinton lost by 300,000 votes to Dole. Obama and Clinton only managed 44% in Texas but Gore really won it against a Texas Governor.
Can I get some oceanfront property in Oklahoma with that?

Hey Dick.............let it go. It was 11 years ago. Let it go.......

Hell, if the primitives knew any history, they'd still be bitching about the Hayes-Tilden controversy.

TIA is stuck in neutral. Has been for a long, long time.
In case you wanna know what this quack looks like:

The first vote I ever cast was for town supervisor,he was a Republican but had to run as a democrat against the incumbant.
Guess that means every Republican or Conservative party vote I have cast in the last 25 + years was stolen from a dem.

His profile says he was a math major. Ummmm, from his post it doesn't appear he can count very well.

Only after he removes his shoes and socks, and then, only to 21. :lmao:

What's with all these once-banned primitives swimming back to Skins's island?
First, this guy, and then the disability scammer the cross-eyed Iowa primitive.
Is TomInTib next to show up?
-
hfo is the only one to cast a question at Dick. All the rest lap it up and eat it hook, line, & sinker. Nothing bad would have ever happened if Gore had been elected!

Well, TIA didn't keep his post count. Maybe Skimmer is trying to recover his LUniebin losses. I missed the post from the disability fraudster Hawkeye X. Is he using an assumed name?

Back before he was banned, his dissertations on the whole statistical mess he claims as proof of shenanigans were notable for the countless hours of correct calculations built upon a foundation of obviously-flawed assumptions.
The best analogy I can formulate is a fine and large Victorian gingerbread house placed atop a pool of quicksand.

I would love to see his formulas and exactly where he added the "protomatter" factor(obscure Wrath of Kahn Genesis device reference). That is the only conceivable way he would be able to come up with such distorted data.

One time--this was a long time ago--a primitive used the methodology and determined that Walter Mundane "almost won" Georgia against Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Yeah, right. Like Barry Goldwater "almost won" Massachusetts in 1964.....
-
TIA was heavily invested in the exit polls as the foundation for his house of cards, never taking into account either the time-limited and selective sampling problem (Both as to precinct, and who was queried at the precincts by the canvassers), self-selection by responders themselves being possibly biased in one direction, simple lying by the Bush-voting responders to avoid confrontation with clearly pro-Gore flacks, or the factor of false answers offered just to screw with said flacks.
-
TIA is the arithmetic khephra.
He's the nutcase nadin of the mathematical world.
He calculates on the meta level.

Go to his site but have a bottle of Advil handy.
It is a baffling array of presumptions, acceptance of belief over facts and out and out fabrications.
Best that I can tell and what my previous post was mocking is that he takes vote counts from previous elections(they are only reliable when he wants to use them) and more or less presumes that the person 1)voted again and 2)voted the same party line.
Any deviation from the numbers becomes a stolen or uncounted vote for a democrat.
Maybe I am wrong with that synopsis but seems to be the closest I can decipher his methodology.

I thought he was banned from the Island years ago? Is Skimmer allowing the previously tombstoned to return?

I have it on good authority that not a single person voted for Bush either time. F*cking Diebold.

Also obvious is his findings are that in these elections the Democrat either lost because of fraud or they won by larger margins than recorded. I have yet to find even one of his findings that say the Republican was cheated; it always comes down to the Democrat either having been the true winner or winning bigger than the polls indicated. No doubt if he ever discovered evidence of Democrats cheating during an election, his findings would show that the Democrat would have won anyway even if cheating had not taken place.
These things on the surface would make the average human being raise an eyebrow, but of course the primitives lap it up without question.

I did, so I know he got at least one vote both times.
I sure wish I could vote for him again.

Gore would've won the electiom if........................
HE HAD WON HIS HOME STATE OF TENNESSEE!
Doesn't it say something when someone can't win their own home state?
Sorry for shouting.
-

Yeah, apparently he is.
Lots and lots of former primitives swimming back to Skins's island.
I expect TomInTib and WaltStarr to show up any time.

It was my vote that did it.
Thank you. Thank you very much. Please, be seated.

Wait until the enraged poofters figure that out.

There must be a bigger migration of fools from DU then we tought possible if Der Skimmer is leetting banned people back on or they are exploiting the fact its a new board and the site doesn't know they are banned and is letting them in.

Too bad Redstone can't tip off his buddy TiTtyboy that he can come back home now.

I've been thinking of showing up there to celebrate the new DU and one of my bannings about 10 yar ago with a new banning today.
Is your fellow alum still counting the Tomb Stones from DU2?

Looking at his picture, I think I recognize this guy. He's done a series of videos on YouTube.
Basically each video is a single phrase repeated over and over while his head dances.
It will be like, "Republicans are stupid." and then he will dance, laughing with special effects. He then repeats the same thing in many different ways.
Its impossible to sit through an entire video. But this is what passes for progressive humor at the DUmp.
you would think a math major would be able to come up with a more entertaining way to bring his point across.
Unfortunately, drugs can ruin even a math major's brain.

I remember a couple of those were featured in DUmmie Funnies a few years ago.

Dude.
Think about what you're saying. Math major? Come up with a more entertaining way? What are you thinking? Nutty math majors means guys like the Unabomber, the 'Beautiful Mind' nutter, and Turing. Wack-jobs, sometimes valuable ones...but never entertaining.
-
Of the math majors I've known, one worked for the Air Force charting missile trajectories and whatnot. Another was a Dominican immigrant who worked for the public school system. The last worked was hired an an insurance actuary out of college and recently sold his company to Cigna Healthcare for $3.8 Billion dollars.
I guess there's all sorts of shit you can do with a mathematics degree.
-
I've also known a few, chris_, and in fact Math and English are often held up as two degrees that are generalists - they know they're probably not going to get a job doing exactly what they've been learning (Aside from the very few super-exceptional students that get a chance to go right back into teaching at the college level), but they've both proven they can master complex and demanding material that most of the rest of the population shies away from, and if they keep an open mind some pretty diverse opportunities can open up for them.
-
I wouldn't put a mathematics degree on par with a degree in English. If you can graduate with a degree in mathematics, you've already completed far more calculus and geometry than any English major would ever be asked to complete. I know a college degree isn't the end-all, be-all of career opportunities, but it's a huge step from one to the other. I have a friend who graduated with a BS in microbiology and now works as an IT engineer/consultant.
I just can't picture an English or journalism major doing much of anything that requires that kind of effort.

That's great if the profession you end up in actually requires a knowledge of calculus and geometry, otherwise the English is likely to be a damned sight more useful. Don't be blinded by your own natural bent, there are countless scientists and engineers who are completely ineffective communicators and thus limited to being lab trolls and code monkeys for their entire careers because they can't successfully communicate with other humans...despite mastering trig, calculus, diffy-Qs, etc.
