Let's add two for people here to answer.
I am proud of my country, but not of the President.
I will always be proud of my country, but not always the President.
The DUmmie poll should have asked if people are less or more proud of their country than they were in 2008.

America is my country, right or wrong.
Stephen Decatur would beat the ass of any DUmpmonkey for what they are.

I'm sure George S. Patton would be right behind him as well.

I'm sure George S. Patton would be right behind him as well.
Both would be in line behind Chesty Puller and James Mattis.

I'm proud of it because I don't define America by the mistakes we've made like DUmbasses do. I define it by what we've achieved despite our imperfections.
If you DUmbasses can't stand that, I'm sure you can easily find some people in other countries who would gladly switch places with you.

All of those are my sentiments exactly!

I love my country, but not everybody who lives in it.
-
I am ashamed that there are people like the members of DU who are ashamed of this country.

Oh Dandi you speak the truth. We can yell about the birthing of our nation and the atrocity's we became involved in that time. Or look to the blood sweat and tears we have shed later on to keep us a free nation and moved on to better ourselves and those around the world.
Today things look Grim for the worlds first experiment in civilization that was not ruled by an Iron fist. Will we survive as our nation continues to grow, can we continue with the leaders we have today??
We have come far in 300 years, just a blink in the eye of time. A time that gave us what we have today. Can we hold on to these Truths Self Evedint, or will we be sucked under back into the world we all ran from??
I appreciate all America has given my family and the men and woman that spilled their blood to bring us to this time. Yes Old Glory is a symbol of love and freedom to me, a hope for future generations, to continue to grow and thrive, we have made up for the mistakes we may have made as a new birth Nation, time to head into the future and make sure the sacrifices of thousands ad thousands did not go in vain.

I am ashamed that the United States is full of people who want to reverse everything the founding fathers set up for us.
The rights and freedoms that no foreign power, no matter how big throughout history could take from us, are now being taken slowly, by ungrateful brats who can't think beyond the next freebie that they want.
I am proud of the United States of America, and am damn proud that I can understand what has made it so great, and will continue to fight in order to stop those who are trying to destroy her.
Just because I am proud of my country, does not mean that I think we always got it right, but compared to any other country on the planet, I think we have done it the best way.
