An ugly conversation at the gas station.
Edited on Wed Nov-23-11 11:26 AM by Warren Stupidity
Older geezer (behind the register): "Obama didn't do so well in Manchester the other day."
Younger geezer (c'est moi): "uh-huh." (Whatever I ain't going to get involved in this mess.)
Older geezer: "he ain't got any friends in this state".
Younger geezer: .....
Older geezer: "didja here about the guy who took a shot at the white house? I shouldn't be saying this but too bad he didn't succeed."
Younger geezer (c'set moi): "Oh no that's not right, he's our president, like him or not, he's the president of the united states. That's just not right."
very awkward silence
Older geezer: "how about those pat's the other night?"
I won't be bringing my business there anymore.
Yep,conversations like this spring up all the time. ::)

6. "Bouncy" simpy relates to the emoticon.
It's an ancient relic...when a poster would put up a positive story, they'd tend to add the "bouncy" emoticon. So any positive post is seen in the "lurking" circles as being a "BOUNCY" post. Remember, the freepers and cave dwellers are simple people, and need pictures to help them understand what is going on.

If education is such a wonderful thing and liberal union teachers are doing such a wonderful job of teaching, then why do the road signs of today have pictures on them instead of words like the signs from back in my day?

If the Secret Service reacted to talk like that, the DUmmies would all be posting from prison.

Wasn't the shooter part of the OWS? Maybe the old geezers were leftists.

Easy to answer. a picture is worth a thousand words.
We need tourists, so do we restrict travelers unless they speak and read English ????
Canada. as a tourest driving down the road saw a sign of speed limit 100. did not say Kilometers or miles----Darn I was young, but could not get the car up to 100 mph so drove in the slow lane 85 mph.
Driving up north of here about 35 miles one sees signs on the road for Moose area. Other places have billboards with the count of the accidents caused and deaths due to Moose wandering into the road.
The simple sign of warning Moose ahead is fine, as one travels 45-50 down the road the driver has no time to read the bill boards, Just a picture of a moose and the words WARNING saves many lives.

He can't even get that right. The Bouncy was named after the DUmmy "Bouncy Ball" from days of old who was notorious for posting those kinds fictional encounters.

He was flat out lying and he knows it. He couldn't point out the fact that we make fun of them for their fanciful lies.

I'm sure he would DUmmy, but he knows somewhere in that reptilian structure that passes for a brain that filing a false report is a crime.

Not a proper bouncy. No perfectly worded verbal beat down in a style of a cross between James Madison and Oscar Wilde and no customers breaking out in applause after the target was left stammering. I can actually believe this one. Everywhere I go people grouse about Obami and some old people just don't give a damn what others think. God help us if I ever get to that age.

Yeah. No cop in the bushes, no conversion. Bouncy FAIL.

Can you get arrested or warrant a visit from the SS for saying something like "I wish he hadn't missed"?

I can imagine that phone call.
riiiiiinnnnnggg
Secret Service: Hello. You've reached the Secret Service. How may I help you?
Warren Stupidity: I met a pretend old man at a pretend gas station and in our pretend conversation he said some things that I didn't like.
Secret Service: Okay. We'll pretend to get someone right on that.

They may call you just to make sure you aren't actually a dangerous nutter and adjust your 'tude, but the actual offense that could really be prosecuted involves making some kind of threat yourself (Even a pretty vague or peculiar one), not just voicing your wish-list for bad things that you don't seem to have any clear intention or ability to try to do yourself.
