3. It is an APC, not a tank, yes there is a difference
2.- It has a valid use, like when you need to extract officers under fire... like hiere in San Diego where they did roll one out. Officers were pinned down by guy on high point with a 22 rifle. That was a proper use.
3.- At OWS it is not the correct deployment and it is meant to intimidate.
Nutcase nadin is as good at numbering as she is at spelling.

that is what it was used for
does it have weaponry like guns and missile capability?
I don't we can address armament properly without DUmmy DUmotex, developer of the 5.56mm armor-piercing anti-tank rocket.

11. It is like ancient, no not kidding
so I guess they could back fit it with a Recoilles rifle or a Pintle Mounted 50 cal, or grenade launcher. The LRAD... maybe. Good question if the electronics in this thing can support it. In other words if they were modernized.
It is the command version of the M113
Oh god why do I know this crap?
I can answer that, nutcase. You don't know it. You google. You should then copy-and-paste, to avoid all your comical misspellings.
But, bottom line, you don't know any of this "crap".

Uh...DUmbass...do you think there's a consumer market?

It is a M577 apc. It's used as a command vehicle for the most part.

Apparently you DON'T know it is an M577, which does not have ANY weapons station, either a race or a stationary pintle, at the top hatch even in the military version, from which this beast has been very heavily modified while retaining the basic box. Military tracks replaced with bandtrack and special drive sprockets for it, no swim vane or 4.2 generator and box, no TOC extension, lots of popo lights...I could go on, but we all know what a blowhard idiot you are, Nads.

Nads need to use her awesome Google FU to look up Branch Davidian to see what a tank looks like in action against civilians.

Combat Engineer Vehicle, actually. Love to have one of those for the farm, I must say. They are a lot closer to a tank, and started out their lives as M60A1s, but the 105mm main gun was replaced with a stubby 165mm demolition launcher, and a large A-frame crane attached, mounting on the turret, with most of the fire control gutted out and replaced by extra hydraulics and controls for the dozer blade and the crane boom and winch.

It's a freakin' tank!!!!!1111!!!eleventy

That was a tank that squashed Pancake Corrie, wasn't it?

I'm surprised the omniscient Nads didn't recognize the "Lawmaster" pursuit model M577. She'll top out at 165 from a standstill in 10.2, and can deploy a directional EMP generator while on the move to cut out the bad guy's ignition.
By "she", I mean the 577. I have no idea how long it takes Nads to reach her top speed.
Betcha old Nads is Googling her ass off at this very moment!
