Title: poll: how far is one driving for Thanksgiving?

How far is one driving (round-trip) for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday?

I figure I'll be doing about 300, total, beginning Wednesday afternoon until Friday morning.

Ain't hosting anybody; ain't traveling anywhere -- except that Mrs. E is traveling to St. Louis on Saturday to visit with her grandson.

I'm staying home to putter around. Prolly take a nap.  :-)

Seriously, we used to go to her family's big brouhaha on Thanksgiving in a small town south of St. Louis, where they'd rent out the basement of a church.

Somebody got a wild hair up their ass about me, so I don't go any more -- and neither does she.  :popcorn:

Let me calculate here.....

5 miles wrong way to pickup sons girlfriend...............................5
40 miles in the right direction to wife's hometown......................40
35 miles back home..............................................................35
5 miles wrong direction to drop off sons girlfriend........................5
5miles back to home..............................................................5
                                                                                        90 miles total

....and I'm gonna eat baked ham until the blood pressure meter redlines... :-)
