LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 19: A police officer orders a Bible Believers, Los Angeles evangelical demonstrator out of the Occupy Los Angeles encampment as a scuffle breaks out when evangelical demonstrators rally in the camp on November 19, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Though Occupy camps have been broken up by police in most big cities across the nation, the Occupy L.A. camp has persevered with the blessings of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and city officials who say that they have not had any serious problems by the campers so far. Concern is rising though among the Occupiers since the office of the Mayor announced that they will not be able to camp on city property indefinitely.

All we've been hearing about the last two months is how the OWS protesters have an absolute right to free speech and assembly. Apparently support for that goes out the window for people who might hold other views.

2. I'm thinking it's a Bible Believer impersonator.
That's quite a few pics with that guy looking confrontational. I'm wondering if he's really there to "start something" and doesn't worship anything except money.

6. I see what you're suspecting
Provocateurs. Ex-Military or merc types, not high on the pay scale. But there may be a program to incite conflicts and confrontations.
Uh-huh. That's why the police removed them. :mental:

3. Did they expect the Welcome Wagon to roll out the welcome mat?
With signage like that, they were there for one reason and one reason only: instigation.
Whether they are "welcomed" or not they should enjoy the same freedoms as you, and I doubt they planned to camp out, crap all over the area, and create a general nuisance like you do. It's not like you are exactly welcomed by the local citizenry in the areas you infest.

4. Those police are nothing but pigs and class traitors...
or so I've read.
Aren't Bible Believers part of the 99%?

11. The nerve!
I'm outraged. Go get your own group, you party-crashers, you.
They do have their own group, and they have just as much right to be in that space as you do.

13. L.A. has been letting the protesters stay because there have
been no problems with the protesters. So I guess some people decided to make a problem. Typical fascist thinking too. Send in the God Warriors.
If there was a problem it was your own reaction to their being there. If you can't control yourself any better than that maybe you shouldn't be let out of the house.
I'm sure the police had their reasons for removing them, and they probably had less to with the street preachers than the OWS insects' reaction to them. It's just the hypocrisy on the part of the DUmbasses, especially after all the anti-Semitic rants we saw from that protester at Wall Street with other protesters saying "Let him have his free speech", and no calls from the Hive to have him removed by the police.
