OH Please!!! Secret Service Now Authorized To Protect Herman Cain
The United States Secret Service has confirmed that it has been authorized by Department of Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano to offer protection for GOP candidate Herman Cain. The Secret Service will not reveal the exact reason that the Cain campaign has requested its protection. Although threats against the candidate can be a possible factor in asking for protection, any candidate can receive protection if they have “achieved prominence.â€

Big shock that a black conservative would need protection from a bunch of bigoted liberals. :whatever:

1. Just because he is a fool doesn't mean he isn't a high profile candidate for president.
I'm sure he is getting his own share of threats from skinheads.
He's getting quite a share from liberals.

The only way their hatred of Herman could be any worse is if he was Jewish.
Those idiots need to do some serious soul-searching before they preach racism to the public.

34. This is absolutely justifiable and there is ample precedent.
Hillary Clinton, Pat Robertson, Jesse Jackson all received Secret Service protection at similar times in the cycle.
This won't go over well amongst the "waste of taxpayer money", BS they are peddling over there.

Somewhere, somebody said these exact words about obama.

Herman Cains former owners want him back on the plantation dead or alive.

Frankly, I don't see what the big deal is - assigning agents to presidential candidates who feel there is a need for them is standard operating procedure. This doesn't bother me in the least, and wouldn't regardless of political party involved.

Same here, just SOP as far as I'm concerned.
The only thing I can see that gets the DUmmies upset, Cain is a CONSERVATIVE, because we all know, liberals are not racists, right? :lmao:

Doesn't a presidential candidate who gets Secret Service protection have to pay for it himself, though, until such time that he's the official nominee of his party, after which the cost is shifted to the taxpayers?
