A thought about losing income from donations/subscriptions and another question

Seems like there are many who will not be able to give the $42-60/yr for a DU subscription so will not give you money. Seems that those who can afford to give more will, as they have been.

Have you considered this being a loss of smaller donations causing less income overall?

Another question. Since Du is doing great on the ads, and those paying the subscription price don't see the ads, will this then drop the ad income, leading to needing more member income?

Thanks for taking the time to read ans answer, Skinner.

This is of concern to Dorothy, the snobbish primitive, because Dorothy's like the late Duchess of Windsor and the late Rose Kennedy; rich, but a skinflint, makes Ebenezer Scrooge look like Santa Claus.

Always claiming poverty while going down to Mexico or flying over to France, Dorothy is.

1. I know some people aren't going to believe this...

...but this change was not motivated by a desire to make more money. Our hope is that everything will even out and we'll break even. But there is a real possibility that we could earn less money because of this change. Or, yes, we could possibly earn more. In short, it's a risk.

Translation: I ain't making the money I was off this site, thanks to obama screwing up the country, so I am gonna try this to get my revenue up. If it pushes the stupid nutcase parasites off of DU, then maybe I can sell it to Obama's reelection campaign, the DNC, or some other stupid idiot and get the hell out of here with my money while I still can!!!

The primitives may learn the hard way if Skins starts blocking those who block ads.

It's a risk, alright. Skinner can't put a price tag on DU without a steady stream of subscribers. Donators come and donaters go.
But X amount times steady income $ is a price tag that can be negotiated.

And, I_B, only the wrath of Nadin against her persecutors from the past year (She has a list, you bastards!) will be worse than Skinners as he gleefully numchuks the knuckleheads that block his secondary revenue stream.

This post from Skimmer should make the dense Lord Marblehead and the enigmatic, elusive, but harebrained Elad even more nervous.

From reading through the mangled word salads from nutcase nadin, I've learned to connect the dots, to spot trends, to discover sinister imaginary conspiracies, and it looks bad for Skimmer's Boobsey Twins.

The new DUnumber will make the DUmp self-administering, a free-for-all, a cannibalistic buffet where DUmpmonkeys serve simultaneously as diners and fare.

With drastically less administration, one of the Boobsey Twins is toast. So without increasing the DUmp's revenue stream, Skimmer's take will
increase by the amount he currently spends on the more expensive of the two dolts he's paying.

Merry Christmas, Lord Marblehead!
