Please Visit Facebook Page I made for my brother

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bobby-Robert-Lovett/145428802224121

For those of you that have a few minutes this is a story about a father, a brother, a son, a grandfather, an uncle, and a veteran.  The story of a family that misses him.  And a family that is abusing him.  It is the story of the inadequacies of the state (Family and child services) to protect him from abuse, both mental and physical. Being deprived of equipment to keep his mobility, the isolation in the home of which he is kept. I am his sister and I will be adding to his facebook page as more information is gathered and will share it there.

If you have the time to visit his page I would be honored if you would hit the like button and pass it on to anyone you think might care.

Can you get a lawyer to investigate your family's options viz a viz Bobby's care, or have you already tried to extricate him from the harpy's clutches?  I will pray you can free Bobby ASAP.

Oh Linda that is heartbreaking. I agree with Frank, may God see to it that Bobby is taken care of properly.

I read it last night. I feel the same about my brothers widow as you do for your SIL. This has to be absolutely heart breaking for you.

Thank you for letting me post the link here, I wasn't sure if it would be right to do so or not.

We have tried a number of time to get Bobby away from his wife, but the state always sided with her. Bobby had short term memory loss and makes decisions based on emotions not reasoning. The doctors have not declared him incompetent so when asked where he wants to live...he always says home with his wife. He can't seem to remember all the crap she has done to him.

There is an advocate investigating his case now...I found out this morning. I am not holding my breath because of the past. But I am keeping my fingers crossed that this time, they will see what's happing to him and make some changes.

You know, if they said we could not see him, if he got the care he needs, I wouldn't like it but I could live with that. I just can't bare to see him like this.

I am so sorry he is not being helped out as yet and my prayers are sent.  Because he is is a veteran, a local Veterans Service Officer might have some suggestions.   I have found them to be extremely helpful.  Here's a link to Florida's VSO's.

Thank you JLO, we have been thru them before, but if this advocate thing doesn't work out this time...maybe I will try going to them again and see what happens.
