OWS supporters; Regarding recent NYPD action at Liberty Park -
I would like to invite you to join me in a boycott on Thursday in support of OWS NYC.

By not spending a single dime, we can add just a little more support for the brave folks that plan to shut down Wall St. on Thursday.

Please spread this message.

NYT NEWS ALERT: Police in Riot Gear Raid Zuccotti Park, Order Protesters to Vacate

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

There will, possibly, be folks posting on this thread that will say that this boycott will not do any good.

These will primarily be the folks that don't care much for our movement, so please consider the source of these posts.

They tell us our movement is valueless also.

Peace

1. I'm there
And also, in general - we need to be doing all we can to buy from and support local business and shun the corporations. We need to build up our economy and let theirs die. If you're worried about losing jobs - the more you support your local businesses, the more they'll be able to hire people.

Perhaps I should go ahead and order all my books for next semester on Thursday, that should well counteract the non-spending of the DUmmies

Hmmmm...Scoobie's been asking if we can get a chest freezer.  Sounds like Thursday is the day I buy it.

Not one single dime time.
Again. :banghead:
Wish I had a dime for everytime they have a not dime time.
DUmmies are ten dollars short of a dime.

Uhhh...

Your boycott won't make a difference, and ummm....  your movement is worthless.

I believe that Happy Fun Ball has the graph depicting a moonbat's boycott.

If I buy a medium sized coffee rather than a small one, that would counteract it...

Oh!  That DUmmie actually thought beyond square one.  The only supply my small business does not buy from a corporation, are tomatoes in the height of season, grown by neighbors.  I'm sure the DUmmies would applaud the tomato, but you can't put a menu out saying:  A slice of Tomato:  $.10.

(Anyway, don't tell the Health Dept!  They would frown on that, even though it's OK to shit in Zucotti Park).

Why can't the DUmmies tie this in with the posts bitchin' at skinner's pay to play (without ads and the ability to search archives).

It could be "Not one thin DU Dime to Skinner day".

That would surely get his attention.

DUmmies are ten dollars short of a dime.

The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result?
What is this, the third or fourth "Not one Dime" Day? And exactly how successful were the other ones?

Maybe the complete collapse of Capitalism due to the DUmmie Boycott just missed the region I live in.

When you consider that DUmmies spend every damn dime they can get their hands on, what difference does it make what day of the week they spend it on?

Sounds like there may be an unexpected decrease in shoplifting, inventory damage, and fraudulent returns at several major retailers Thursday.

I figured the boycott would mean the DUmmies would stay out of the stores entirely, since after all those loss-generating activities I listed are what they consider 'Shopping' in the first place.

I plan on filling my car up with gas Thursday, instead of tomorrow.

That $45 will counter the entire OWS boycott.   :lmao:
