My cousin is in jail
****all, she got a DUI. Working full time, of course she can't do the community service and pay the fine.
Hence, a warrant, and she is in jail.
****.
This is not what it is supposed to do.
Lindsay Lohan gets 3 hours for her repeated violations, yet my cousin gets months for her mistake - first time.

But it's not all sympathy for Tav and his drink/drug ridden cousin...

4. She's damned lucky she didn't kill anybody, including herself.
I'm glad she's not on the roads.

It must be a full moon. I agree with both the Leftymom and Riftaxe primitives.

No, dipshit--the reason she's in jail is because she blew off the court the first time. Seems to me that lots of people work full time and get community service, yet have no problem doing it. Why is your cousin such a lazy beyotch that she can't be bothered to pay her debt as determined by the courts? Oh, and lots of courts will also consider additional community service or weekends in jail in lieu of fines.
But I bet your ass she had more than enough money to fork over to a DUI attorney, didn't she?

Getting all broken up over your cousin getting jail time doesn't solve the problem. It does however keep someone dangerous off the damned roads. Sorry but I have lost friends to drunk drivers and they get no sympathy from me.

I'd be shocked if the names weren't changed to protect the guilty. :whistling:
