In my replies in this subthread, I demonstrated that Bill Clinton did not say, and to my knowledge has never said, that gun control cost Al Gore the election.
I am completely at a loss; why would my demonstration of the falsehood of the statement made about Bill Clinton be deleted, but the false statement itself (one that is repeated ad infinitum and ad nauseam in the Guns forum) still stand?
This is what was deleted from the thread; my characterization of what was initially said about Clinton is absolutely accurate.

3. Rebutting false claims is, of course, permitted here.
If you personally attack people when you do it, that's not permitted.
I suspect that is the source of the problem. Or perhaps the entire sub-thread was deleted. I'm not sure because I'm not sure which deleted post on your record we are talking about.

This statement seems to suggest what I have believed for quite some time - deleted posts are still accessible with the right permissions and software, else there would be no record to review.

It's as if we had a "fishing forum" here on conservativecave. There's a lot of people who enjoy fishing, who get a lot out of fishing, who like to talk about fishing.
More power to them, even though franksolich doesn't care for fishing.
It'd be as if I went to the "fishing forum" and told everybody off, and find myself sorely surprised I'm yelled at, if not in fact kicked out, which I should be if I did that.
She's just there to cause trouble, no other reason.

I'm siding with Skins on this. The Canadian holier than thou keeps shite stirred in their gungeon and has done so for years. I don't get why Skins allows her to continue. I don't think she's a big $$ contributor, but I may be wrong.
