As a result of the death of a man overnight at Salt Lake City’s Pioneer Park, police announced Friday morning they are shutting down the Occupy Salt Lake protests at both the park and Gallivan Center.
Protesters have until Saturday at sunset to vacate, or face arrest.
Chief Chris Burbank said it appears the victim died from a combination of carbon monoxide poisoning and a drug overdose.

Apparently the guy fired up a heater within the tent, then kept his good solid buzz going. All I can say is, RIP, but it seemed inevitable.

Well at least it wasn't Sterno that took 'm down. We haven't lost a bum around here to CO poisoning in several years that I know of.
(I will have to see if the hooch store down by the tracks still sells Sterno)
