London, Ont., police remove Occupy protesters' tents
Police in London, Ont., swept into the local Occupy protesters' encampment early Wednesday and removed all tents, marking the first time authorities in Canada have forcibly removed a camp that is part of the countrywide protests.
CBC reporter Kerry McKee said a "large number" of London police moved in on Victoria Park at about 12:45 a.m. ET, closing off the entire block near the park.
"The tents just started being pulled down … and it was not long before the park was grass again," she said.

Won't be long before other cities start doing the same. As people get more fed up with them more will happen.

I doubt Bloomy will ever kick them out in NYC.

Actually the best thing that could happen is that those Occupoopers stay where they are and continue their immature antics.
The more people that see them, smell them, hear them and have their daily lives impacted by their tantrums the more it hurts the democrats chances of winning.
Make no mistake - they're the poster children of the left and the more people that receive their message the more people that will see it for what it is and turn it off.

H5, LC EFA, I agree completely. I have been rooting for the Democrat mayors to remain cowardly and see this mess eventually bite the Obamite hands that fed it.

And the longer they are there with no results the more violent they will become.

If I were the GOP, I'd be pouring campaign dough by the truck loads into these group temper tantrums - through untraceable shells, of course - just to make sure the brats stay fat, dumb and happy on into, oh, at least may or June of next year. This shit is better than TV ads.

And now Halifax has kicked out the occupiers. Kind of disappointed, now I won't get to see them when I go to the city.
Occupy N.S. protesters arrested during eviction
Police have arrested several people at the Occupy Nova Scotia site in Halifax as they enforce an eviction order and dismantle tents.
Police teams descended on Victoria Park on Friday afternoon, a couple of hours after demonstrators were told to leave the city park because they were camping illegally.
Fourteen people were arrested as of 4 p.m. AT, all for obstruction of justice, Halifax Regional Police said.
"The time has come for the encampment to end," Mayor Peter Kelly said in a statement. "Our parks are for all of the public, not an unregulated campground for some."
