13. A month ago I think she was still in denial -- and/or hoping that
maybe he'd apologize. Remember, she was a firm Republican, and a Tea Party person, and she wanted to like him.
But when she heard about the other women, and realized he was a serial abuser, she changed her mind.

8. One explanation
Karl Rove orchestrated the whole press briefing yesterday by Witness #4 because he and other GOP operatives are getting really nervous about Cain's high poll numbers.
Rove may have convinced this woman that it was her duty as a good Republican and card-carrying Teabagger to make up this story and present it to the press, since none of the other women were willing to step forward.
I'm not sure I actually believe this, but it's something to mull over.
So does mean Rove must be defeated so Cain can prevail or should Rove win so Obama can be protected?

She said that she met him a month ago, asked him if he remembered her, and what happened. Although she'd tried to put the whole episode behind her for years, it sounded like she was still hoping for an apology.
And this was a month ago -- way before all these other allegations came forward. So one after another these other stories came out -- and hearing about all these other women, and what they'd been through, she finally stopped blaming herself and being embarrassed about what happened, and thinking maybe somehow she was unique or somehow partially to blame -- and finally got angry enough to speak out.
This seems like pretty normal behavior to this armchair psychologist.

It's quite the contrast to her teary press conference. I think the account in the OP is irrelevant. Everybody expected character assassins to come out of the woodwork.

Boortz was talking about this Sharon Bialek on today's show. She's apparently one of those serial accusers from the heyday of the 90's. "Trouble with a capital T." People are looking into her.

The fact that the only non-anonymous accuser has a record of false accusations, and a photo that indicates that she was on friendly terms with Mr. Cain a short awhile ago really brings the accusations into doubt.

Yeah sure, if some dude came on to me like that, I wouldn't be like "ooooh stop, Mr. Cain...wah, wah, wah!..I'da bashed him in the head and then called the cops...Who in the heck would believe that elementary scripted bs? Oh, her story got better as she became a much more relaxed "LIAR" as time went on..
