'Occupy D.C.' Goons Push Elderly Woman Down the Stairs
Occupy DC Protesters assaulted conservatives as they exited an Americans For Prosperity “Tribute to Ronald Reagan†dinner.
This elderly woman, 78 years old, rode 11 hrs on a bus from Detroit to attend the dinner. After the attack she was taken to hospital with multiple injuries, a bloody nose which developed after the fall, and a large knot on her head. After x-rays and a CAT scan, she was released the following morning with cuts and large bruises.

The time is coming, soon, when someone doing shit like this is going to get a world-class asskicking.
-
The OWS idiots are going to have to snap back to reality pretty damned quickly if they think that this type of shit won't have repercussions.
-
They are lucky...my grandmothers are dead. If they did that to one of mine.... :hammer:
-
The DC police are worthless as piss on a hot rock. However, let a crowd try to get close to an abortion clinic or a queer convention and the police will come out in full force to protect these freaks. They never have figured out that Vince Foster was murdered and his body dumped.
-
Any way you look at it, the fact that there aren't arrests made and charges pressed after VIDEO exists of this kind of action tells me the police at least in Washington DC are about as useful as a football bat.
Don't believe me as to how worthless DC cops can be? Try riding the Metro sometime.
-
It seems to be the trend of cops just about anywhere now days.
They dress/act like a bunch of paramilitary wannabes, couldn't find their own asses with their hands in their back pockets, and don't do anything outside of traffic/speed enforcement (mega-bucks for the city, with minimum effort on their part).
-
That poor woman. I hope she recovers quickly. Karma will be waiting for the person(s) who pushed her down the stairs.
-
These OccupyInsertAnyName are wackos. :mental:

When? When will anyone stop them? We're just letting them go on and on with their s$%t and they get away with it.

And the more they get away with, the bolder they will get. Today they're assaulting an elderly lady, tomorrow they could be targeting political figures for assassination. I would not put anything past these creeps.

I really don't understand how this group can squat (set up camp) on private and public properties, block and interrupt traffic (albiet sometimes unsuccessfully), violate laws about permits and sanitation not to mention commit violent crimes against non-participants and each other and have ZERO legal consequences. Unbelievable!
-
I don't understand it either. WTF happened to rule of law? Equal protection under the law? Why doesn't the law apply to them? Do we really have to resort to vigilantism?

The Owies in Dallas have a permit to camp behind City Hall. For a month. After the kerfuffle this weekend, rioting at our downtown BOFA some protesters were jailed, and everyone is hollering. The Mayor says he thinks they need to be more "stern" with the protestors. ::)

Hopefully, the below will mean horseback-mounted cops getting into the mix, at the least.
Police will get tough on Occupy D.C. protesters
Chief Lanier cites five injuries last week

The Washington Times
Monday, November 7, 2011
Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier said Monday that her department is adjusting its tactics in response to Occupy D.C.’s “increasingly confrontational and violent†demonstrations, following the actions of other U.S. cities looking to evict — or at least crack down — on what officials are characterizing as unruly protesters.
The chief’s tough talk changed the tone of what had been about a month of congenial relations between protesters and authorities. It came after a Friday night incident in which several people attending a downtown event where the protesters were demonstrating were hurt.
“Five people that we are aware of were injured,†Chief Lanier said in a statement issued Monday. “That is no longer a peaceful protest.â€
Chief Lanier’s statement also included links to videos that police say support their claims that the protesters are becoming more aggressive. In one video, protesters appear to use children to block an entrance.
“We do not condone nor will we tolerate violence or aggression,†Chief Lanier said. “The administration will do what’s necessary to maintain order in the city and to ensure that everyone is safe.â€

Hopefully, some live rounds will be used. It's about time.

I have to really hold my tongue here.
They attacked two elderly women that night.
Any day now they are going to assault the wrong person.
-
I'm sure Biden will call them terrorists now. :whatever:
Oh wait they reserve that for the Tea Party who never pushed anyone down stairs.

Yeah, and I hope that wrong person is someone like Mr. Smith or Ms. Wesson. :-)

God made all men. The fine folks at Springfield Armory made them EQUAL. :fuelfire:

Take a good long look at any of these "Occupiers". They all look either completely destitute, homeless or just downright afraid of a bar of soap. Just to name a few "key" credits. I love camping just as any other whole hearted american, but now when I see a tent in the store, I think of smelly crackheads on the side of the road blocking pedestrian traffic.
I'll admit, a few of their rants might hold merit. Such as the disgust for big banks and poor decisions. But anyone who thinks that blocking the subway or even "shutting down" Wall Street failed to take a single class in Economics. These out in left field dreamers really do not get it.
