Tensions are high at the Occupy Vancouver site after a female, who is believed to be in her 20s, died late Saturday afternoon in what Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services are calling a "medical emergency."
The woman was found unresponsive around 4:30 p.m. and was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
VFRS spokesman Capt. Gabe Roder confirmed the woman who died was in a tent, but it is unknown whether she was a resident of the tent city.

Kinda looks like the drug addicts, pimps, prostitutes, homeless, lazy, shiftless, and others on the public dole don't seem to want to protest nearly as much as they're looking for yet another handout.

Nuther drug overdose. H5 for the find.
I have NO idea why the Democrats keep trying to tie themselves to the protests. It will only harm them in the long run.

I would like if they all occupy death.

Thanks for playing. Sorry, there are no consolation prizes.

Does sound a lot like an OD. Not like any of these idiots are going to get heat stroke in November, or blow out an undetected congenital heart defect through overdoing physical exercise.

That's why they must be encouraged to keep it up by siding with and joining the idiots.

Quote/ Leah said the man, who is an American citizen with an amputated leg, was admitted to VGH's emergency ward after six hours of waiting. She said social workers visited the man and he is now in a detoxification program.
Damn 6 hours to wait for medical attention with a drug problem AND suffering the loss of a limb??? I have to wonder was he a Vet. brought home lucky to be alive from the war and just dumped on the streets.
I have a big problem with how our Hero's are treated when back home after loosing limbs and their minds.
We must do something for our men and woman who have placed their lives and futures on the line for us safe and secure civilians. Time to Man up and give back to our Troops what they have lost in serving us.
This is a VOLENTEER military, no one is forced by draft to protect us, the 2 time volunteer in the mid east that came home healthy only to have been walking home from work and is now fighting for their life due to a police action gone wrong is a tear maker.
Close to home in our comunity we have a young man. a Hero that was set upon by a couple of men and a woman and was beat almost to death. Sparky must know the details as it was all over the local paper.
To think that our sons and daughters go to war, return and die at the hands of small town thugs is horrid.
Even the healthiest of our people get into drugs, this man missing a leg has at least some reason to do so. To be left for 6 hours in the ER under those conditions is a crime be he a VET or civillion who lost a leg in an accident.
I cannot understand the government position on our wounded Vets. there is no call for it, they deserve the best Government care possible. Darn a civilian injured on the job gets better care then our boys and girls when harmed .
This has been a 40 year complaint since Nixon cut money to our military hospitals in 1970. Tripler in Hawaii was flooded with the injured back then, the cost of the care for the serviceman's dependents was growing and the care of our men and boys as well as the dependents was cut back. ---It was odd that the senior military wives still got face lifts and implanted boobs while the amputees on the 8 floor had to wait for artificial limbs.
Unless you were about in the military back then please don't give me no Guff, I was there and I saw it and lived it.
If I were to march and camp out somewhere it would be for the Veterans and the number of them left to live on the street or sub standard care.
Long time Piss Off for me, some things need to be addressed.
Call me a nut, I do not care, those that die for my freedom, have their own lives destroyed for my freedom, they are the Hero's in my life and the living must be protected, cherished and honored.
We who are so many, who owe so much to the few, must repay the blood sacrifice made for us, so we the many can sleep in peace at night.

I've never quite understood the fascination with Vancouver. Outside of a few nice shops and some hawt strip clubs, the city is pretty much a shithole...a Canadian version of San Freaksicko and Seattle rolled up into one.

Shit, I was thinking it would make them look better in the long run. Didn't think anything could make them look worse.
