Occupy is growing, and fast
It's in places you would not expect it Yes, that includes small town Murica in fly over country, as well as the usual "liberal" bastions.
People are talking on how joe six pack...yup he's gotten off the couch, is getting bit up by the system. Yet, our media keeps playing these intramural games. This is not a normal year. No, the republican field ain't deep. But that's not the point. Nor will the department of truth will cover this, for the most part...but it willbe a LLLLOOOONNNGGGG winter.
Take my word, people are not talking of the whatever passes for nooz in your local tv. It will come as a shock to the MSM, but this Nile tv impersonation will not last forever.

She is completely incoherent.
To put it mildly.
-
Take your "Murica" and shove it up your fat ass.
It's "America" you DUmb bitch.

It is rather old and dull and tedious, the way nutty nadin can't spell.

There are a handful of nutbag lunatics like yourself nadin and they have been joined by the hopelessly homeless, the stoned out hippies and wannabees and now the anarchist animals.
Please keep it going,we gain votes every day.

Sorry about the swearing. She just pisses me off.

When I see those "Fight for communism" signs, my blood boils.

This morning there was a headline on Drudge about wildfires threatening San Diego, and I didn't click on it, figuring nutso nadin would illuminate us about it today, tell us all about it, but I was wrong; I should've clicked on the link.
Here, I'd been thinking she found a new obsession.....

Well, I was hoping, really, she'd grab her Geiger counter and paper copy of the U.S. Constitution and go help fight those fires.

One can see it now, nutso nadin reclining on the couch, dipping her fingers into a box of chocolates, and punching in messages on a hand-held gadget, giving those there instructions via Twitter on how to fight a fire.

The wildfires are most likely undercover police.

The winds shifted and it wasn't a credible threat in the first place. We are supposed to get some rain tomorrow.

Oh.
Not that I wanted San Diego to burn, of course, but just that I was hoping nutso nadin'd find a new topic on which to expostulate.
-
Lots of primitives reading this thread, but the closest one is from Menlo Park, California, which is nowhere near nutso nadin.
One supposes however she'll find this sooner or later.

I'm sure the DUde is reading it.

Nope, none from the third-richest county in America, where the sparkling husband dude lives.
Essentially, from Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and one from Arizona.
But of course I don't see all of them.

This is not a normal year.
Well good.. at least 2011 is almost over.
I need to get drunk and then maybe I could translate Nadin to English.

Can I ask a question, if the Occupest Movement was taking "root" then why were tax increases for school funding voted down in Colorado?

The latest polling on the Occupests:

#OWS Turns A Corner In The Latest Quinnipiac Poll
(http://www.redstate.com/repair_man_jack/files/2011/11/OWSpoll.jpg)
Quinnipiac has polled the American people about Occupy Wall Street. The numbers are not what Adbusters would have hoped for. Thirty percent overall view them favorably, 39% wish to see the occupation ended. 31% wanted to know when LSU vs. Alabama kicks off.
The poll makes for some interesting reading. The movement seems most well known by people with incomes over $100,000 and least well known by people making less than $30K/ Year. It is viewed negatively by people at every income level. Remarkably, the negativity ratio is highest for people making $30K<income <$50K. At this income level, people familiar with #OWS reject it by 2:1.

In Omaha the cops had to bounce a few off of city property because they refused several attempts by the cops to leave under thier own accord from 24th and Cuming St. Three of them were arrested out of the nine there.

I'm shocked the DUmmies have not posted;
33% of OWS protestors were unfairly jailed in Nebraska!!

Ain't enough free booze in Vegas for that.
Frankly, if her husband really is an ANAV (Quartermaster Chief) on a SD-based boat, I'm wondering why he hasn't taken her down on the boat for a dependent's cruise and shot her ass out Tube #4.

I get the impression nutso nadin's long-suffering husband has no idea what she's doing.
Some of the best-kept secrets are what one spouse keeps from another.

I suspect nutso nads hubby is the origin for the term, "drunken sailor".
If I was married to that scrunt, I'd never see another sober day for my entire life.
I sure do pity that poor squid.

The local newspaper has a front page picture up real close of our "Occupy" protesters and you can count about 6-8 in the picture. I went down yesterday to the second most librul city in kalifornia and there were 5 people "Occupying" the plaza. Then I went to "Occupy" the local micro beer bar with 10 drinking buddies. We did not get any ink on the front page but we did have twice the amount of "Protesters" than OSB. So no Nadaindabrain it is not growing.

Even if she was right, which is rare and not the case here anyway, the same could be said of an aggressive cancer or an MRSA infection, none of which are good things.

Occupy Raleigh is down to 1 or 2 people out there every morning. Earlier this week the lone protestor was putting and emergency call out for someone to take his place since he had to leave within the hour.
Someone showed up and an hour later he posted about how he was sent home from work for being late. :loser:
Greensboro is down to about 12 regulars and now they're talking about aborting the occupy thing since the space they were renting for their occupation is unavailable after this weekend. They're talking about finding an indoor space for the winter. :loser:

Just reading your post, my blood boils!
Scubaguy, that sounds like a teeming mob, all right. Good luck getting around town and stuff.
Here's the report from my neck of the woods, filed on 10/29:
Protesters gathered in Watertown's Public Square Saturday for the second Saturday in a row in support of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement.
This time, it was activists with Veterans for Peace. They discussed a wide range of concerns, including bringing the troops home from overseas and ensuring they have access to good jobs when they get back. They also talked about what protesters have called "corporate greed."
"I think that the idea that the "Occupy" movement is anti-capitalist is erroneous. What the "Occupy" movement is looking for is a moral form of capitalism so that it functions fairly and justly," says Katherine Fitzgerald, a participant in the "Occupy Watertown" protest.
There were only a handful of people at today's demonstration, but protesters say they have the support of many more.
Followed by a picture of 4 elderlyish people. One was holding a sign wanting the troops home, another had an American flag, and two others holding VERY wordy signs that I can't make out.
The quote above is interesting. I get the impression you could have a rational conversation with this little group.

12. I believe there is a scene in V For Vendetta near the end where the MSM is blaring into empty rooms
and all of those who used to watch, are now marching upon the capitol.

13. A brilliant scene actually.
Pretend people in a pretend world have so much to do with reality. Not.

The wildfires are most likely undercover police.
LOL!
I still remember a few years ago when there were those major wildfires in California, there was a DU thread in which a DUmmy claimed Bush was behind the fires. The reason for this? The DUmmy in question apparently went into some kind of new age meditation state or something looking for answers, and asked "The spirits" or whoever to reveal who was behind the fires, and for an answer, kept seeing the image of Texas in her mind over and over again. She interpreted this as to meaning that Bush had started the fires (Never mind, you know, the tens of thousands of other people who live in Texas).
And yet, these same DUmmies claim Christians are the ones whose beliefs are irrational.
-

I'm stumped. I simply cannot comprehend this high a level of stupid. I have to believe it's drug induced, because even high school dropouts are more coherent than this.

Well, see, DU is like a big acoustic resonator of stupid. Just ordinary stupid goes in, but it comes out megastupid after bouncing up and down the tube.

That could be possible Frank. I remember when TRG was here and at the old home he found out that one of the wives of a senior officer at an Amry post in Texas was posting some rather derogatory comments on DU about the service and more. Didn't take long before the husband was called on the carpet to the Division Commander to answer for her post and not long after that she hauled ass for Canada. She went by the name Lynn the Dimm I think.
-
I think LynnSinn or whatever her name was is still posting there. I thought I saw her name pop up recently.

Down Twinkles to the OP from DU!
This is so totally cool, I feel like I've learned a new language.

How can the 99% movement be growing if they are protesting the 1%? I'm not following the logic here. By definition, the only way the movement can grow is if more people join their cause. But they're already 99%. Only people from the 1% could join the 99%, but then it would be like the 99.5% protesting the .5%. Are they having babies that fast in the OWS camps?

I haven't seen V for Vendetta but it should like an inferior version of Network.
