Did you see snipers?
“Did you see the snipers?†Is probably one of the more horrifying things I’ve ever heard someone say at a protest.
I was in disbelief when, sure enough, I did see the snipers after one of the General Meetings at Occupy Toledo. Things had just ended and I peeled away from the action, turning the lens on the Rebel towards the top of the parking garage, where two TPB officers were very clearly loading rifle cases. An unmarked white SUV later exited the parking garage, but hung around the block that Occupy Toledo’s protests were occurring at.
One of the protesters asked the police what they were doing with rifles. The police answered, “We’re only here to protect you.â€
I apologize for the quality of these photos—I didn’t have the 5DmkII on me, and I only had an 18-55 kit lens, and I definitely was not expecting this.

10. That only applies to OWS protestors of course
Tea Party protestors who bring assault rifles to open meetings are merely exercising their constitutional rights, whereas an Occupier with a gun would be a dangerous turrrrst.

12. Correct. Snipers are not supposed to be visible. Thus they failed
or were not snipers.

14. depends on their purpose
..
perhaps they wanted to be seen
maybe killin' wasnt the plan for the day, just intimidation

11. The next extreme incident might include snipers..or sharpshooter.
I really wouldn't put it past, those in charge of local PD departments. SWAT teams on the roofs with riffles. Not good at all. All it takes is one itchy trigger finger.

15. Kinda looks like guards with rifles in
a prison.
Except there are no rifles and the OWieS are free encouraged to leave at any time.

22. We are becoming like 3rd world despotic government. Time to defund the police state
When the economy is bad, government hires mercenaries who are unable to earn a living any other way. Police loyalty lies with their paycheck funded in part by wall street banks like JP Morgan.
Police exist to protect the 1%. They won't think twice about slaughtering anyone who gets in their way.
The irony is the guy who served tours in Iraq to protect the 1% oil investments facing snipers, now has a sniper rifle pointed at him by the local police who are protecting the 1%
I was told only Teabaggers wanted to defund government services...including the police.

In typical liberal fashion these "occupy" bums are saying one thing while doing the opposite. They absolutely are inciting and perpetrating violence at these demonstrations.
That ex marine they keep harping about as an "innocent victim of thuggery" was in fact struck with a bottle thrown by a protester. He was NOT injured by police. He also just happens to be a dishonorably discharged disgrace, a POS who founded an anti marine corps website but the leftists conveniently leave all that out of their rants when they are propping him up as a hero of the revolution.
That same leftist ignore the facts mentality was rife at the height of the Tea Party protests when the leftist media did everything they could to whitewash the Tea Party as a mob of religious nutcase gun toting racists.
Now we have real nutcase gun toting national socialists turning up at occupy protests openly carrying assault rifles and the leftist media conveniently ignores that fact.

If this is not an all out effort at intimidation and baiting of the police I don't know what is. These whack jobs are going out of their way to find a gunfight and the occupy protesters are welcoming them with open arms.
When (not if) TSHTF a lot of people are going to be lost to this utter stupidity and the blame lies squarely at the feet of the leftists who incite this sh!t.
I apologize for the source but the LSM is ignoring this one~

More mental illness. Notice that the OP makes some kind of unsubstantiated statement and hardly anyone takes issue with it. The thread progresses as they all add their own little bits and pieces to the paranoid fantasy until by the end of the thread they've created their own complete mythology which in their minds becomes fact. Start with someone milling about on a roof (could've been a couple of HVAC guys changing filters for all they know) and by post #22 we have a "despotic government".
I don't know if it's some kind of weird form of group hysteria or something more akin to a bunch of stoners sitting around pondering wormholes and warped space. Either way, they cheese has flown off their crackers.

More mental illness...
It was the same way with Iraq.
Bush farts on foreign visit > Bush has gas, other nations effected > Bush gasses dozens hundreds thousands of foreigners > Bush gasses a million Iraqis

Learn how to spell, will ya?
Although, I think it's more likely they had RUFFLES up there. Who knows, they might have had a bag or two of chips up there watching you idiots make a fool of yourselves, and laughing about it to each other. Not out of the realm of possibility.

A comment from the original link:
That is our building. Those two guys are two of our techs cooking lunch on our grill at noon. I know you won't believe it, but that is what it is. You need to admit there is clearly no gun case in the picture, just a top of the grill.
