Tired of working hard to provide for people who don't provide for themselves.
Hmmm.

The Occupy Wall Street volunteer kitchen staff launched a “counter†revolution yesterday -- because they’re angry about working 18-hour days to provide food for “professional homeless†people and ex-cons masquerading as protesters.
For three days beginning tomorrow, the cooks will serve only brown rice and other spartan grub instead of the usual menu of organic chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, and roasted beet and sheep’s-milk-cheese salad.
“We need to limit the amount of food we’re putting out†to curb the influx of derelicts, said Rafael Moreno, a kitchen volunteer.
A security volunteer added that the cooks felt “overworked and underappreciated.â€

6. Isn't the Post a Murdoch rag?
I'm shocked that they found something negative to write about OWS, just shocked I tell you.
You don't have to dig too deep to find something negative about the OWieS.

16. Then they need to rotate shifts...
I'm sure there would be more than enough people willing to step in and help out feeding hungry people. Isn't that part of what the movement is all about---helping out those who need it?
In other words they are hypocrites.

I love it when reality slaps a DUmbass in the face.

OMG! Freeper what a find! this is totally DUFU worthy!

The comments at the Post are fantastic. I was wondering if the DUmp would pick it up.
Mainly they just say "Oh it's Murdoch. Ignore." Well, everybody else is not ignoring it.

22. If I was a homeless person in New York
I would get my ass to Zuccotti Park quicker than you can say "roasted beet salad". And who could blame me? Where else could I get free food of that quality?
At least you're an honest freeloader leech. You don't care whose labor it took to acquire the ingredients, and whose labor it took to put it all together. You don't care if their feet are killing them. It's free shit for you. You parasites are the greedy, selfish ones. Democraticks and fleas.
That article is gaining tons of comments. You think the whole world is on your side, and you're wrong.
(CC also has this in GD).

This is funny because I've been watching the same thing happen but on a much smaller scale.
Occupy Greensboro and Occupy Raleigh initially were actively recruiting the homeless population to join their cause. Now that they're there both groups are having discussions about how to deal with the problem. :rotf:

How soon will the NY hippies be setting up different kitchens to keep the haves and have-nots separate?

I notice they have no problem with these groups masquerading as registered voters.

Hypocrisy, thy name is DU!!!!!
:rotf: :rotf:

In the next couple of weeks I am going to be volunteering at the local shelter feeding those in need and I am a mean ol right winger. Why can these noble lefties feel good about feeding the homeless. Besides, they were INVITED! If you want to feel appreciated get a dog and a bag of dog biscuits. If you want to help people then help people and don't get in a snit if you don't get a thank you and sloppy kiss.

Liberals, always ready to have somone else pay or work for those less fortunate.

It's funny how they can walk all around a clue, stare at it, sniff it, talk about it, nudge it with the toe of a shoe, but then still never pick it up.

It just goes to show you that even with 100% of a population being liberal retards, Adam Smith's invisible hand still bitch slaps every single one of them.

Saw on the TV News about a week ago where the OWS protesters had tons of donated food stockpiled....now they're to lazy to fix it...next thing you know they'll want somone to spoon feed 'em.
:lmao: Prime example right there why communism/socialism will never work.

The kitchen staff should organize a general strike! Then, it would be like a strike within a strike, with 1% of the 99% providing for 99% of the 99%, or 98.01%. So are they now the 98.01% movement? The math is getting tricky.

This comment is from the NYPost's story on ex-cons from Rikers showing up for free food:
I tell every homless person to go over there for free food, cloths and beer. Just yesterday there was a homelesss guy on Third Avenue, looked kinda young and I walked him to the subway and swiped my metrocard and gave him directions to the park - he was so happy, I told him they will give him evrything he needs - I even said once the hippy girls get drink and high that they would do just about anything - JUST DOIN MY PART to Help!

A model of what their brand of full-on Socialism would look like. Ten percent of the people actually working and producing while the other ninety percent figure, "Why the hell should I work? I'm gonna be taken care of anyway."
Even when it's right in their faces they deny it.
-
HYPOCRITES!!!
KAPITALIST SWINE!!!
OCCUPY THE FOOD 1%ers!!!
-
Rugnuts, :lmao:
They absolutely deny it. Even at the Post, you get one or two moonbatty types trying to defend everything, and deny that this is a failure of Socialism written right before them. They give the most vacuous replies, like "stop being mean! Why won't you support us?" Other commenters patiently explain just what the problem is, but it's just not hitting home.

I suppose that's wishing for a bit much.
