GENERAL STRIKE!!! This is what the Occupy movement was born for!
Excuse me for being pumped up upon hearing that #occupyoakland voted for a general strike on November 2nd. There are also rumors that the Occupy movement as a whole is talking about a nationwide general strike next May.
A general strike is exactly what the people need to be doing to wrest control of our government and our future back from the banksters and corporatists. It's one thing to make noise in the street, but mere noise can be ignored. If we want to exercise real power. Real political power. Real people power... THEN WE MUST **** WITH THEIR MONEY.
That means it's time to strike. Shut down the highways. Shut down the ports. Shut down the rail lines. Shut down the airports. Grind the economy to a halt. And make the Gordon Gekkos bleed green until they give us unconditional surrender.
You want to win this war? You've got to strike. Build support for a strike

And they wonder why we think their movement is violent.

7. I've read a story of an Syrian exile
It would help immensely if soldiers, when ordered by officers to shoot at unarmed fellow citizens, would instantly shoot the officers giving such orders. Instead of waiting to be killed for refusing to follow such orders.
That is one situation where I see decisive violence not only justified self-defense, but a citizens duty.

8. In Preparation for General Strike
IMO it would not be a bad idea to spread the message through social media etc., to soldiers and ordinary policemen and national guard, that if officers order them to shoot at their fellow unarmed citizens, and they don't want to, they should mentally prepare to kill those officers before they kill those refusing to follow orders.
I'm just stunned.
-
I would like a dime for every time a DUer called for a GENERAL STRIKE!!!
And then I'd be willing to pay a quarter tax for every time their call for a GENERAL STRIKE!!! accomplished anything other than them being laughed at.
-
Ya know what, DUmb**** lurkers? You don't have the balls to do it. Hell, even though I work for the government, a fair number of my co-workers would ignore your calls, and maybe **** you up if you tried to stop us from working. I know that a lot of the private sector would love to see you mouth-breathers try. You'd find out that a fair number of them take the Second Amendment very seriously.
-
Holy crap! I would shoot at a lib anyday before I would take a soldier's life. :bird:
Go to Hell, Tama!
-
Please organize a general strike. Then, lots of non-union employers can replace their scumbag employees with people who really want a job.
-
I'm a little surprised the bloodier posts have not been scrubbed.
Anyway, the New York Times estimates that the loons number approximately 6,000. How are a handful of stoned hippies going to shut down actual ports, airports, rail lines and highway systems? I suppose we could run them over. I'm just not picturing a couple few guys in dirty stocking caps forcing an entire port to grind to a halt.
Besides, this is Day of the Dead in Mexico. They love this holiday, and there are many activities. Why do you hate Mexicans, DUmmies?
-
Seriously, do the people at Occupest Oakland actually work?
-
WOW! at the posts calling for violence, and they actually let that stand there?
-
"Tama" needs to have his head drummed in.
-
"Tama" needs to have his head drummed in.
I think that post is a perfect illustration of just how clueless and out-of-touch with reality they are. Their ridiculous belief that they can somehow initiate a crippling general strike when even the hardcore DemonRat base thinks they're a fringe is so devoid of any plausible basis in fact that you have to really look at it as a matter of faith to understand why they can't see its absurdity.

Yep, called this one yesterday (http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,65957.msg764891.html#msg764891).
Okay, DUmbass tama, there are a few minor factors you haven't considered whilst fapping over your latest delusion:
1. The active duty troopers are not going to shoot their officers when they have military hating hippies (such as yourself) to shoot instead. Shooting unarmed citizens is one thing, shooting rioting shitbags is a whole 'nuther ballgame.
2. The civilized citizens of this country are tired of your tantrums and antics. They do not support you, they do not want their way of life destroyed for your marxist utopia, and they are more concerned about feeding their families than following whatever freedom destroying "thought" falls out of your rotted heads.
3. Any attempt to get in between a civilized citizen and how they feed their children will most likely result in hippies going under the tires of cars and trucks. That, DUmbass, is a natural reaction of any normal individual that wants to live a peaceful life only to have it threatened by an entitlement zombie horde.
4. The Second Amendment, 'nuff said.
By all means, children, have your "GENERAL STRIKE". Make sure you plan it so you can drag as many democrats as possible down with you.
Which reminds me: Next year is an election year, your leftist allies in the government are more interested in not being shitcanned by the voters than listening to your whiny asses. Don't be surprised when the police forces of the various blue shitholes you will attempt to burn down start beating your asses and splitting your skulls; it will be those mayors and elected leaders of your urban districts that will come after you the hardest.
-
Not like this would ever go anywhere, anyway, but:
Doesn't a "general strike" imply actual JOBS that one would strike from?
-

That is the funniest part of their whole general strike declaration. The OWsies are all hanging around various parks and are not working anyway. What are they going to do? No drum circle today, it's a general strike. :lmao:
-
Keep dreaming DUmmies........NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
Losers. :bird:
-
But what if I *want* to club hippies?
-

Their ROE, and better than that common sense, aren't going to let them do that anyway. The only way troops are going to shoot is if they're being shot AT. Even then, unless the whole crowd is armed, they'll try to take out the shooters and armed rioters instead of just hosing the crowd down.
Now if someone had the colossally-bad judgment to try to run a car at a line of troops which would most likely have a fair number of jumpy Iraq vets among them, you sure as Hell wouldn't want to be in the car or anywhere near to it, including downrange.

All of what you are saying is true and understood by most of us on this board. I was only trying to break it down for the DUmmies to understand.
:-)

Don't ruin this for me.

Don't ruin this for me.
He's not ruling out various butt-stroke or butt-smash moves. You'll still get to club some hippies.
-
IIRC, the DUchebags were claiming that the Oath Keepers were treasonous.

And Iraq vets were war criminals.

The only thing a general strike will prove is that the decimal is in the wrong place. Instead of 99% it will show 0.000099%. Have at it kids. The grown ups will continue moving forward

Sorry, Wasp & MSB, I know you guys understand it perfectly well, but you can never tell when something flippant that's a little over-the-top might get picked up by a 'Guest' and come back to haunt us the way the insane ravings on DU do to them.
Of course, lots of people actually listen to the programs that would showcase their craziest posts, which isn't really so much of a problem when you're talking Malloy, Schultz, or Madcow.

If the unemployed go on general strike, does that mean they apply for a job? :whatever:
-
The time they waste comtemplating movements that will never materialize has got to amount to around 99% of their time.
.

Building on Splashdown and Skul's point, I picked this up off of pirate4x4.com
The protesters are planning a general strike. Did they get jobs, or they going to quit not working?
(I wish I could cliam it for myself but I cannot tell a lie...)
-
YES... STRIKE ...STRIKE...strike them all about the head and shoulders.... :lmao:.

I wonder when in May these geniuses will have their glorious "general strike"?
May 1st, perhaps?

Probably around 1 or 1:30 they need time to hit the bong one good time before they do anything.

And goes for at least 24 business hours, or until they're just $10 away from Socialist utopia, whichever comes first.

Hey! It's another Not One Damn Dime Day! How's it look in your neck of the woods? Traffic was a bitch at 7:45, everybody trying to get to work. All the stores are open. Oh the huge manitees!
I see the DUmp is open for business. They were supposed to not internet today. I'll bet $kimmer's donate button works fine, too.

The general strike in Oakland may be the most important event of the year.
The Ruling Class needs to fear the 99% to get meaningful change

The DUmbasses are bringing TPTB to their knees.

Well, because of the decline of the Obameconomy, its more like not one damn 7.83461 cent piece day...

We had to chain the moonbat thralls at the VRWC Super-Secret Fortress of Evilness to their workstations today, and give them bathroom breaks only under heavy guard, to keep them from bolting and joining the throngs of leftists bringing the industrialized world to a screeching halt.
Can you imagine how much panic there would have been in the VRWC Commissary if Conspirators had been forced to load up their own lunch trays this afternoon? Oh, the huge manatee!! I"m so happy that Lord Rove is thinking 12 steps ahead of the DUmbshits in these things.

I also heard there was a lot of unrest at the Walmart/Haliburton Underground Detention Centers across Kalifornia as well. There must be an infiltrator somewhere, because all the detainees get to listen to while they work is Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and NASCAR.
I think they need to cut their rations and extend their work hours. The current 16 hour shifts are leaving them with too much spare time. :lmao:

You need to contact HQ and opt into the Worker Happiness Incentive Program. You can raise productivity to at least 20 hours per worker per 24 hour period.

I guess it depends on whether you're a union or non-union hippie clubber. Union hippie clubbers have been ordered to go on strike.
