Oh my.
The things the primitives discuss.

White sheets may be bad for your sleep.
Dr. Oz-Approved Sheet Colors Chart
The reason you’re tossing and turning at night might be the color of your bed sheets. Dr. Oz has the guide to the best colors for quality shut-eye.
If you sleep on white sheets, you could be sabotaging your sleep. The whiteness reflects the light, which stops the production of melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating sleep.
Sleep on sheets that are orange, yellow, red and black. Stay away from white as well as blue or green. Use the chart below as a guide.

I dunno.
For some reason, the bedsheets on franksolich's bed are black.
I disremember why; I think they were on special one time at Montgomery Ward.
Now, for some reason that escapes me, this campfire's very large, one of the larger ones to appear on Skins's island. It's huge, and a Nebraska primitive's the first to jump into the fray:

1. Try turning the lights off and closing your eyelids. What a maroon.

7. I've got a street light shining right into my room.
I need to do something about this as my insomnia is bad. And yes I do have white sheets and really soft ones too. Boo.

11. Room-darkening curtains, shades or blinds, then. You can get them with liners.

All us conservatives only own white sheets so we have plenty to go to our Klan rallies. :-)
I bet some lurkers actually believe that shit. :rotf:

This issue is a non-starter with the primitives.
They'd either have to wash their sheets to try to figure out what the original color was before years of soiling and other body stains, or search the catacombs of their drug addled brains to try to remember.
I wouldn't hold my breath. On second thought, depending on where I was in relation to said sheets, I might hold my breath.

That possibility's mentioned there.
I have no idea why this ballooned into such an enormous campfire over there.

I cant stand Dr. Oz. :whatever:
I like white sheets, I can bleach them.

Yup. White sheets, white towels. Easy to match as well. And I can bleach them.

I love nice bedding so I'm very fussy about it and those colors won't go with my bedroom at all, my bedroom is blue/white with wainscoting.

Mine are green. I thought they went with the purple pillow and blue comforter.

We had issues with the light coming in when we wanted to sleep in, I initially had a blind with my curtains, then we added a shade and the light still came in, then I added a medium color blue roman shade, so when we want to sleep in we close the blinds, pull down the shade and then pull down the roman shade and the room is nice and dark.

Are you colorblind?
-
No, I'm just not very good at decorating.
I figure I'm the only one that will see them, so it doesn't really matter.

A comfortable bed is so important and you need nice bedding, you need to go to Bed Bath and Beyond and buy a nice fluffy comforter and pillows and matching shams, or a nice quilt.

My wife can't sleep if it's too light in the room, but she can fall asleep with the TV on. The flickering of the TV keeps me awake, but light doesn't bother me. I could fall asleep with a spotlight on me as long as it doesn't flicker.

If Chris goes to B B and B he may run into Gator from CU. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

We're the opposite, my Husband is a horrible sleeper, I hit the bed and in 2 minutes I'm out LOL. I can sleep with the TV on whereas it bothers him so I sometimes shut the TV off and put the radio on. I also bought 1 of the machines where you can listen to rain, ocean sounds etc. but doesn't really help.
-
I like falling asleep with the radio on, but the same radio is my alarm clock so it makes that a little difficult.
You'd think I would have bought a second alarm clock by now.

I have the clock radio where you can set the alarm but also put the radio on for 59 minutes, it's like a timer. I also have a boom box that plays more stations clearly but that doesn't have a timer.

The comfort zone at amazon has a killer deal on 1,500tc sheet sets for $40.

Strangely, my wife doesn't. :whatever:

I thought DUmmies partied all night and slept most of the day? That's seems to be the norm for the government tit suckers around here. ...and night time is for stealing and redistributing wealth if you're one of the 99%.

Oh I'll have to look at that.
I have a huge ugly king size comforter that I won a few years ago at a fundraiser, this thing is ugly, but it was over $200 for the comforter (the price was still on the prize) so I started buying Duvet covers for it because the darn thing is so nice and warm, I wanted a white Duvet cover to use but wasn't sure if it would cover the ugly color on the comforter, well I saw 1 at Amazon for like $38, it was a heavy white cotton, read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try, well it's the most beautiful comfortable thing ever.

OMG! no! I gave in on the color because my Husband didn't want a girly bedroom but that's it, I need flowers and frilly bed sets.

Where I grew up as a kid our home was located under one of the landing approaches to Offutt AFB. Planes going over 3-5 times a day, mostly at night. Those KC-135'S are loud ad he'll when they come in at barely 1000 feet above your house. The colour of your bedsheets don't enter into it when your trying to sleep.
