Just saw this on Drudge.

Winter woes threaten Wall Street occupiers

Oct 22 08:46 AM US/Eastern

They put on a gritty war face and insist they are more determined now than ever, but the Occupy Wall Street campers now face the slow advance of an unrelenting enemy: the New York winter.
As freezing winds blew Friday over the epicenter of their protests, Zuccotti Park in Manhattan, the demonstrators were already huddling in significantly reduced numbers.

At night, the several hundred people who sleep on site in the financial district bundle up as best they can under plastic tarps, hunkering down in sleeping bags and emergency blankets as tents are forbidden on the plaza.

Many sleep with bonnets and scarves. But the worst has yet to come.

"So far, we have been extremely blessed," said Cynthia Villarreal, who has slept at Zuccotti for 18 days.

Who got wiped out with disease-laden blankets (in history)?  Hmmm . . .  :whistling: :fuelfire:

Kinda wondering if the good people at Land's End and LL Bean will be making a few donations of clothing that didn't quite make it through quality control......

:lmao: I'm lovin' it! Wait until it gets really cold. Their numbers are already dwindling which must be forcing their cheer leader captains to bunch them together when the TV cameras show up.
We'll see how they hold up under a real storm off the N. Atlantic. The shop keepers in the area aren't going to tolerate a bunch of slushy booted hippies milling about in their shops soaking up the free heat indoors. I doubt the cops will put up with them camping out and pan handling in the subways either.

Game over, retards. Time to schlep back to mommy & daddy's basement for the winter.

Yeah, but the ***** Factor is too high. They'll bail out long before they're in any kind of real weather.

Really hot I'll agree with.  Personally, I'd like for them to protest in someplace REALLY cold, like, say, West Yellowstone, Montana.

The lowest temperature they've had to "endure" so far is a low Saturday of 47 degrees.  It was 34 here this morning.

Personally, the "protest" will be over the first time they have to deal with sleet or snow.  Trust fund babies are fragile, dontcha know.

If that's the case, here's hoping they camp out there next summer.  That would be the best GOTV campaign ad the Republicans could hope for.

Gee, I thought that global warming was going to make the temperatures real warm so they wouldn't have to worry about freezing their precious little tootsies.

I have NO sympathy for these OWser's!!! I know that is harsh, but That is how I feel...

What they are going through is nothing comapred to what our troops are going thru....

I saw this one pic, there were rows of mini trenches with our soldiers sleeping (no blankets or pillows)in them, and miltary vehicles lined up on either side. My heart broke for them all!!
