Just irritating as heck
Going to the store car side swiped me (at a red light) and kept on going. Taking car to shop on Monday to get mirror fixed, none but the mirror got hurt. It is irritating but given the economy the hit and run ain't shocking. Oh and before anybody asks, nope did not get nuthin' beyond a partial.
Yup I had to wonder if insurance was something other driver had. Oh and goes well with the guy who tried to get hubby to hit him to probably total car. This is a sign of them times.
Oh and most of mirror is still there so here hoping it's easy fix.

2. None got hurt and given it was on the drivers side
After ten years of EMS I shrug them off when none gets hurt.

3. I'm so glad it's a manageable collision. You are okay.
I hope you got a little mad and I hope it never happens again. If you had the time or inclination you could maybe try to get the description to the cops. If not you could just write it all down and put it away in a book and take it out to read when you want to raise your blood pressure.
I'll be thinking of you next time I get knocked around.
Maybe that person is scared to death that they will be found out and they have to live with that. That should make you feel better.

4. What I got for a partial plate would be good for the circular file. If I got three more digits then they could find it.
It will get fixed... and as I said above ten years of EMS gives you a very different perspective on things like this. None got hurt, car will get fixed... but at a meta level it tells me, or makes me wonder, how many people out there are NOW driving sans insurance?

5. It must have done a little damage to their car too,and if they had no insurance
... Maybe that's a reason why they didn't stop. Too bad they are so messed up and you had to get close enough to get a little involved.I would try to write it off and enjoy a hot tea or a beverage of choice.

Thank God she has the meta level perspective, in my opinion this is just another pattern that leads to an inescapable trend, pretty soon the guns of august will be firing, and the Rubicon will be crossed. All because nadin lost her drivers side rear view mirror in a traffic accident.

Does she mean "no one" or :

It's rather curious, how she repeats herself, using "none gets hurt" in every single one of her comments.
Probably so sauced she forgot to remember she'd already said it.

She types on the meta level, stop hating.

Damn you, sir, I had to nadin that.
When I first saw "meta," I just glossed over it and went on, thinking she was using trendy shorthand for "metaphysical."
But nope.
Meta- (from Greek: μετά = "after", "beyond", "with", "adjacent", "self"), is a prefix used in English (and other Greek-owing languages) to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept, used to complete or add to the latter.
In epistemology, the prefix meta is used to mean about (its own category). For example, metadata is data about data (who has produced them, when, what format the data are in and so on). Also, metamemory in psychology means an individual's knowledge about whether or not they would remember something if they concentrated on recalling it. Furthermore, metaemotion in psychology means an individual's emotion about his/her own basic emotion, or somebody else's basic emotion.
Another, slightly different interpretation of this term is "about" but not "on" (exactly its own category). For example, in linguistics a grammar is considered as being expressed in a metalanguage, or a sort of language for describing another language (and not itself).

That's the main reason she reminds me of a long-ago television evangelist who based a church on herself.

You know, nadin was born and raised in Mexico, and allegedly spent a couple of years in the Israeli Defense Forces.
But actually she's probably not well-traveled, not having seemed to have ever been outside of Mexico-southern California-Israel, given her abysmal non-knowledge of geography.
I'm trying to figure out if her grotesque faux style is meant to insult southerners, rural folk, hillbillies, midwesterners, or what; people she's probably never heard in her life, excepting in half-hour situation comedies on television.

Dear Nads,
Welcome to ****ing California. You know how many times someone has bumped my mirror at a stoplight? You know how many times they stopped? Hell, I had one motorcyclist flip me off when he KNEW he had hit my mirror, because I tooted my horn at him. But did I go into a fit of rage and post about it on a website, and oh, did I mention how God-like and just totally ****ing awesome I am and how much shit I know that you poor dumb schlubs don't, neener neener neener?
Yeah, that's how you come across, nads. Just like a condescending ass. Problem is, what you THINK you know isn't one-hundreth, shit, one-MILLIONTH, of what you actually do know.
You are not the person in the Dos Equis commercial. No, this is who you are, nads:
--You are the designated driver for parties you don't attend.
--Your therapist naps during your sessions.
--Paint hates watching you dry.
--You bought the super-expanded cable package, so you could watch Olbermann and infomercials.
--Even your husband can't tell when you've been drinking because your lack of a personality can never be altered.
--Your favorite joke has no punchline. Hell, it's not even SUPPOSED to be funny.
--Aliens don't even want to probe you.
You are--THE MOST UNINTERESTING PERSON IN THE WORLD. And deep down, you know it, which is why you struggle mightily to overcompensate.

Awesome, sir.
I'm always impressed how I manage to stand in the shadow of literary giants.
That's really good, and I mean it.

Well, to be fair, I did nadin a few of the MUPITW (Most Uninteresting Person In The World) lines. The Internet is my muse. I take cues from it, but I don't let it replace my ability or need to think for myself.
-
Whoa.
There must be a lot of primitives researching nadin.
Primitive lurkers at this thread are even more numerous than the ones at the nudity thread posted last night.

Most likely an illegal alien. Here in Mass it is an epidemic, almost everyday you read about another illegal hitting a citizen and still Cadillac Deval refuses to enact the secure communities deportation program. Oh, I forgot Deval is black so I'm a racist never mind.
-
But...but...but...Rover! I thought everyone in MA was insured! We even have posters here who say so!
And yeah, you go to some parts of SoCal, the chances of picking a car at random that has no licensed driver, proper registration, or insurance is damn near 100 percent.
Yet when the CHP, Sheriff's, or local cops do a registration/license stop and check, it's somehow racist. Really, DUmmies? Then how come I was subjected to them when I lived in Hermosa Beach? Yeah, there too, assholes.
-
nadinbrzybrzybrzy was in EMS? First I've heard of it.
I also heard John Kerry was in Viet Nam, but who knows?

Really!! was that after Presidential candidate Nixon sent him on a super secret pinkie swear mission to Cambodia?

OMG. She loves to keep reminding people she was a EMT. Well this is going to be the first and last time I mention this but I was a vol. EMT and hope to get back into it next year. And if some some one side swiped my truck I would be PISSED. I guess the Buddah/Zen training was for the CT level. Hey Nads, your training does not make a saint or better then anyone else you insecure twat.
-
She just makes this shit up like a cult leader feeding bullshit to a bunch of idiots to get their donations. There is no way that this story happened. Its pure bullshit like everything else she claims. I bet she didn't even leave the house on the day of this fantasy.
Got to remember the first character trait of the leftwinger in their psychological profile: pathological liar.

Actually, I believe I know the reason for this bouncy, Nadin is jealous of DainBramage's car accident campfire. Can't have attention on anyone else.

I've noticed that more and more bouncies have embedded bouncies in them. A good example of the narcissistic attitude that is so prevalent on the island.
Another one is redundant campfires, using identical titles, when a major event occurs.
They're all a zero, like their president, on a self worth scale.
-
Well, I think Little Miss Nutcase has spotted a trend here. People are hitting DUmpmonkeys' cars and not stopping.
An unmistakable sign of a declining empire.
But how about:

What in hell kind of damage is estimated at $50?? A body shop would charge more than that to clean bug guts off your windshield.
And what kind of damage will a mexican fix for 30 pesos? That's about two bucks.

She is on a plain that the rest of us can't achieve or understand - only it's a lower rather than a higher plain.
