Funniest "good bye" posts on DU....
The funniest one I remember was the person who demanded that "Skinner ban him (or her) right now!"
And he responded with "OK."
Were there any others?

1. Good ole Walt Starr?
Some day--but not now, maybe in a few years--franksolich'll have to tell what really went on with the Walt Starr primitive.

8. I swear I still miss him.
Walt's was a spectacular departure.
I have absolutely no memory what it was about.
(Anybody?)
That was back when DU had PASSION!

4. And wasn't Skinner's response...
..."OK?"
One of the best flame-outs ever.

3. Aside from the peerless Walt, my favorites are those who flame out after ~30 posts with a hair-pulling breast-beating GBCW, and all the responses are like "Umm, who are you?"
Bonus points when the GBCW uses phrases like "you people" and "I tried (to educate you people)"...

9. I love the ones that post emotional goodbyes with their reasons, and everyone is all, "okay, whatever, have a nice life" intermingled with a few "oh, please don't go" and then a few days later the departed changes his/her mind and announce their return hoping to get a bunch of welcome backs.
Narcissists..gotta love them!

There was a voting thread on DU's Facebook page asking people to vote I think on funniest DU post ever, something like that, and Skinner ban me now was on the list.

I think nutcase nadin's was among the best ever. It was so momentous, it took several posts to complete. She went into great detail on what critical knowledge the DUmpmonkeys would miss out on, and described how she was so serious that she was deleting all her cookies. She kept up a running slanderous monologue against Skimmer and his nitwit sidekicks for allowing people to disagree with her. She was back in, what, five days?
Another great one was DUmmy DUmotex, inventor of the magic .22 caliber anti-tank incendiary rocket, who was outraged when people laughed at his goofy small arms ignorance. Just like his fellow heroes TiTtyboy and Redstone, he tolerates no disrespect. He warned the DUmp they would be missing all his stupid fire tower pictures. Another attention whore, he stayed away about a week.

:whatever:
Really, Frank? Is the world going to end because of an internet post about a long ago shitcanned DUmmie?

I don't remember seeing that - sounds like pure nadin...does anybody have a link?

Oh now.
I don't blow people's covers, sir.
You see, Walt Starr, who enjoyed some notoriety in his day, was not a real primitive.

I surmised that the reason had to do with protecting past or present moles.
