Rescue Keef
And take Keef in your arms
Rescue Keef
He wants your tender charms
Cause He's a lonely
And He's blue
He needs you
And your love too
C'mon and rescue Keef

MSNBC Primetime Shake-up. Ed Schultz Moves to 8pm; Lawrence O’Donnell Back to 10pm
Ed Schultz, whose “The Ed Show†on MSNBC began the year at 6pmET, before moving to 10pm, is now going to lead off MSNBC’s primetime at 8pm. “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell†will move back to its original 10pmET timeslot.
The changes take effect Monday. <...>
MSNBC’s primetime had its last shakeup in January when Keith Olbermann left the network abruptly on a Friday night. The following Monday, O’Donnell began airing at 8pm and Schultz moved to 10pm.
Since Olbermann’s departure, MSNBC has experienced a ratings fall-off at 8pm. For the month of September, “The Last Word†was down double digits: -22% in Total Viewers and -35% in A25-54 viewers vs. last September when Olbermann was in the timeslot. At the same time, Schultz at 10pm has experienced growth, topping CNN’s “AC360″ for the last quarter, but falling behind Cooper for the month of September. Additionally, “The Ed Show†grew MSNBC’s 10pm audience during Q3 +38% in Total Viewers and +22% in A25-54 viewers vs. the show that was in the time period in Q3 2010, which was “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.†TVNewser
Makes sense. Even at 10 ET/7 PT, Ed has been outdrawing LOD. And LOD's delivery seems better suited for a later hour IMO

2. hmm.. maybe it's not so much that LO
isn't doing well but that more folks are tuning into KO at that time. We'll see after Ed moves to that time slot.
Looks like fewer people are watching PERIOD.

5. I pretty much stopped watching MSNBC at all...
...after Keith left. They took on such a centrist posture that they seemed to shut out progressive discussion. I've noticed that...since OWS has pushed back from the left...they seem to be trying to recapture their progressive audience. JMO.
I'll continue to watch Keith...at 5, 8, 11p.m. and again at 9a.m. in the morning here on the west coast. And I will catch Rachel sometimes in between...
Does the phrase "get a life" mean anything? Aren't these all repeats?

9. That's what they get for dumping KO! His viewers followed him to Current.
The same thing will happen to Ed. I'll just catch Ed's show when it repeats later.
Then they got tired of his self-righteous schtick and tuned out altogether!

Best part? AlGore and Soros are spending a lot of ill gotten gains on Kweef.

Hey, lurking DUmb****s, why don't 'cha get a load of this?

Let me display the first paragraph:
Keith Olbermann is not in the witness protection program, but he might as well be. His show on Al Gore’s Current TV (America’s least watched network) has lost nearly a third of its viewers in four months.
I highlighted the pertinent line to help you out. At the Current (yes, I meant that pun) rate, he should have zero audience in a year! :fuelfire: :yahoo:
-
To be fair, even at 46,000 Olbermann is still drawing twice what Current was getting before him. Pre-Olbermann, the network was averaging about 23,000 viewers a day in 2010. That means nationwide they had fewer eyeballs than a CW affiliate does in a mid-sized city. (The 2010 numbers are the most recent because Current’s audience is so small that Nielsen only tracks them when the network pays it to and even then the numbers aren’t given to the public.)
For comparison, Charlie’s Angels got 5.9 million viewers last week and a cancellation.
This is just too funny

They combine the viewers for all the rerun shows for the Keef and they're still less than most infomercials get. :rotf:

I must have missed that centrist shift.
I just thought of something. The DUmp claims that the MSM is not left leaning. This DUmmie is claiming that MSNBC shifted more to the center. Interesting. That would seem to be saying that someone at the DUmp is lying. Hard to believe.

The only show MSNBC ever ran that any one wanted to watch was To Catch A Predator.

And the "stars" of that show were Democratic voters. :-)

For the LUrking DUchebags.
This is why I do not mind be called a Tea Bagger and refer to the Dumbass Liberals as tea baggies.

Uh huh.
If you check the "ideology" test in the DUmping Ground--a test incidentally taken off Skins's island and brought here, as the primitives swore it's an accurate test--one finds it would be pretty damned difficult to be more "centrist" than franksolich, who's so middle-of-the-road I get run down by traffic running both directions.
But really, the test is a pretty good, and reflects scores I've gotten on professional examinations of the same nature--so I'm willing to accept it as reasonably accurate, franksolich as an undeniable centrist.
If that's indeed so, pretty much all the media's w-a-a-a-a-y to the left of "center."

Rescue Keef :panic: Keef is sinking :panic: throw Keef a cement block :panic: NOW!
Hey, to a liberal that would sound like a brilliant HAA-Vard idea.
-
Keefs ratings are so far down in the dumps , you need the USSRN Seaview to find them.

I am not a program director, but will moving these jerks from slot to slot make any difference? Lawrence O'Donnell is a :censored: at 8:00, he'll still be a :censored: at 10. Likewise with Sgt. Shultzie.

Deck chair rearranging on the Titanic, anyone?
And 46K nationally? Test patterns and Snuggie commercials at 3:30 AM get more viewers.

Billy Mays reruns at 3:30 AM get more vieweres.

My guess is that Popeil Pocket Fisherman infomercials get at least a few hundred thousand.

Yeah, I think they're repeats, but with drug-impaired short-term memory like the DUers have, it's like a new show every time. Hell, these people probably hide their own Easter eggs.

Yearning for as liberal a line up as they can get while we just shrug and live our lives.
Ten minutes later they will be calling for the banning of Fox.
Tyranny always follows leftism.
