Got asked about my D, and my democraticunderground bumper sticker today
Edited on Mon Oct-17-11 08:25 PM by Muskypundit
I had just gotten out of my car at the local veterinarian hospital to make an appointment for my dog, and a large burly man was going back to his pickup when he saw my stickers. His truck had a Dino rossi, Mccain (without the palin), and a 9/11 sticker. He scoffed, shook his head and asked me "Why would ANYONE put that shit on their car".
I was in a particularly shitty mood that day, not having took my meds in the morning and having had a 'moment' earlier. Immediately the blood rushed to my face; hardly able to contain myself I said, "I see that 9/11 sticker on yours, tell me. What did YOU do for your country after that day?" It was a cruel set up. He replied, "I didnt vote for libtards, so I guess I did more than your lazy ass did."
"No sir. I actually found the weapon of mass destruction. It was an evil Iraqi child, blown to shit by a single .50 cal round on the side of the road in Ramadi. Costs were pretty low too, only took my buddies ****ING HEAD. HIS WHOLE ****ING HEAD to get them. I guess that my reason for the D. Whats your excuse?"
I cant remember what he looked like after I said that, or even if he said anything at all. I was in another place, another country at another time again. It wasnt even particularly brilliant or even coherent what I said. But that was the best I could come up with at the time, and I think I got my point across.
The Iraq war was my coming out to the left side. It was a cluster****, an utter nightmare, hellish on all levels and for no good reason. Only that the 1% needed that war money. Which I guess is good enough reason for my best friend to be dead today, and for a poor Iraqi child to never grow old enough to comprehend why he was dead in the first place. I am so ashamed. I didnt kill the kid, I didnt see the person who did but to me it doesnt matter. I may as well have. I am ashamed, and I live with that every day. It is only when I encounter faux patriots, does that shame turn to pure rage.

Another DUmmie is off their meds. They need to be locked up and kept on intravenous drugs for societies sake.

Wonder when they'll make his exploits into a Holywood movie?
I find it absolutely amazing of all of the vets at DU that were combat vets. Not one REMF among the lot of em. They all had their ass in the grass. No. That ain't right. Seeing as it's a big sandbox, they all had their noses in the Camels DUng.

Bull ****ing shit.
Odds are anyone saw a dead kid in Iraq odds are the ****ing hadji killed them. The rest? Bullshit rehash of Full Metal Jacket.
POSER
-
Not even a good rehash of FMJ.

I'm kind of curious about one thing.
Why would a person who supported the Republican ticket in 2008 scratch out the name "Palin" on his "McCain/Palin" bumper-sticker?
I suppose it's possible, but it doesn't seem credible to me.

I think it was a McCain only BS. I had a "Vets for McCain" BS. Palin wasn't listed on all stickers.

But it's very curious that the primitive alleged "Palin" wasn't on it.
It was as if the primitive was trying to make some sort of point.
If you or I had been spinning this yarn, sir, we would've just said "McCain sticker," and left it at that.
But this primitive went out of his way to mention it didn't have "Palin" on it.

The only time I ever see a persons bumper sticker is when I get stuck behind another car when we stop and sit at one of Obama's "shovel ready" job projects.
O.T.: The project is on a two lane choke point in this tiny town. I am not sure what they are doing. Replacing sidewalks I think. Everone who lives on that two blocks are pretty much trapped during the days and get the privilege of driving on the a torn up road for almost two years now. I had no idea why they were doing all this until today when I was looking for the local dump and went too far. I had to turn around and head back toward the road work when I saw one of those putting America back to work project signs. Really, it has been almost two years and I just don't see any progress on ANYTHING!

Cool story, bro'!
Wait 'til I toke up, then tell it again!
:stoner:

We can expect to see even more examples of phony soldier BS stories if the Supreme Court rules against the Stolen Valor Act. DUmmie war heroes will be coming out of the woodwork. Just a trip to the local army surplus store to pick up a set of BDU's then off to the anti-war protest or occupation or gay pride parade.

Muskypundit became a Dem because he had to settle for that lame dinosaur water adventure ride.

The bold text is the only part of the story I believe.

It is rather surprising in a way, with military security and what not,, that people have the audacity to claim they were in the military when they really weren't....
We have an Army Barracks store up here in Scarborough, and they sell everything military. Anybody can walk in , grab BDU's? a patch or two, have a dog tag stamped and voila!!! and no one the wiser...
Can you ask someone who claims he/she is a vet a few questions and know for a fact if they are or not....

So, I was at Walgreen's today. Saw lots of bumper stickers on the way to the door. Didn't comment on any of them. Oh, but next door at Safeway I think they arrested a shoplifter. There was a cop car with it's lights on parked by the door.

This is lame . Lame on steroids in fact. SOB never set foot on one military post except to protest it.

Were there any bushes around that the cops could have jumped out of?

Well, there was a large display of pumpkins. They come from plants. A shrub is a plant.

If they display them like Walmart does, they were in a large cardboard box, large enough to hide an adult.
I'll allow it! :lmao:

They must be teaching new stuff at Benning that I never heard of. Like how to be a CSI in your part time?
