Washington (CNN) - Congress isn't getting a glimpse of what's on President Barack Obama's Blackberry - or any more internal White House communications related to the bankrupt solar company Solyndra, which received a $535 million loan guarantee from the federal government.

House Republicans investigating the loan controversy had requested all internal White House documents about the issue. House Energy and Commerce subcommittee chair Rep. Cliff Stearns said that includes emails on the President's Blackberry.

One wonders how much transparency the DUmmies can stand.

Something tells me the nature of the discussion leading up to the loans doesn't fall under Executive Privilege.

Didn't Obama insist on having his personal Blackberry instead of a government issued one?

IIRC he insisted on having vs not having.  Sent the SS into a tizzy and I believe the final device he uses came from the NSA or was heavily modified by the NSA.

Yep. The Crackberry techies supposedly configured Barry's phone such that it complies with the rules about security and whatever rules there are about keeping copies of stuff he sends out and gets.

Something tells me this is a standard ploy that Congress plays, irrespective of who's in the White House, and the usual method of the White House (or Blair House, for that matter) is to tell Congress to pound sand, that Executive Privilege rules.
