Help out the Democrats... Should they come out in support of the OWS??
It seems like the Republicans are trying to co-opt the movement but I don't see a lot of success. They are scared to death that this will turn into a Democratic voting bloc.
The Democrats are cautious. They remember 1968 and the Democratic Convention and Chicago. Many still believe those demonstrations lost the election for the Democrats and won it for Richard Nixon.
But just how cautious should they be? The occupiers do not want the support of the Democratic or the Republican Party. However, that does not mean that individual Democrats cannot come out and support the movement. They do not speak for the Democratic Party at large. I think more Democrats need to speak out on an individual basis in support of the occupiers.
What is your opinion?

16. Same page.
Let some few like, say... Alan Grayson, get behind the movement and watch their numbers soar. If they work toward what we all need, then they can expect a solid and nigh-permanent block of support.
What republican has tried to co-opt this monstrosity? He must think Bloomberg is a Republican. And even the commie Bloomberg is getting fed up. Hippies must be smoking.
