Title: iCloud security
Post by: Duke Nukum on October 12, 2011, 08:02:52 PM
Does anybody here have any idea of how secure the iCloud is? I've nadined it but all that really comes up are some opinion pieces from last June.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably do the same. Might wait until I actually need a cloud as these things can take months to sort out.

No bugs yet w/ 5.  Although I did get an ad (notification?) for a coupon app I use while I was in photo stream. I need to play with the new notifications more.

iCloud: iCloud security and privacy overview (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4865)

Don't know how I missed this before. Probably because it was down below some older articles.

Good detail but obviously they're not going to say: Our security is paper thin, they want to own the "cloud" market. ios5 includes 5GB of storage - additional storage is additional cost.  I'm still going to give it some time to play out before I start sending them my pics and files to store for me - although the concept is really cool if it works.
