Omahan jailed in terrier's death
Marta and I have 2 rat terriers that were abused before we got them. We are appalled at this act of cruelty!

An Omaha man faces a criminal charge after his dog died in a fall from a ninth-floor window of an apartment complex.
Metrelle Dailey was being held Sunday in the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of animal cruelty.
Witnesses said Dailey, 28, tossed a rat terrier named Domino out of the window Thursday night. The dog died of his injuries.
Dailey said he was drunk at the time but denies throwing the dog.
He had adopted the pet from the Nebraska Humane Society a few months ago.

I won't fault them for being against animal cruelty, however I have trouble that they care about a dog being mistreated yet cheer on the mutilation and murder of unborn humans.

I'm sure that Metrelle Dailey is fine and upstanding productive citizen of Northern European decent....or maybe not.
Besides facing a felony animal abuse charge, Dailey could be evicted by the Omaha Housing Authority. Director Clifford Scott said the tenant did have permission to have a small dog in the apartment. Scott said OHA will remind any resident who is allowed to have a pet that they must care for them.

In college, my fraternity had an ancient firetruck. We'd sometimes put a keg in the back and cruise around campus with the siren on.
We once had someone toss a cat at us from the upper stories of a high-rise dorm. They missed. Don't know if it landed on its feet.
