My neck epidural right C 4-5 went just fine this afternoon

As soon as I started posting, people started asking. I appreciate all the good karma sent my way. I feel better after this time around than I did after the second one 2 weeks ago.

IF I feel good enough Sunday, I will be at ground zero of Occupy Omaha at noon. 72nd & Dodge St. is the busiest intersection in the entire state.

Wow.

What a coincidence.

When franksolich lived in Omaha, he lived two blocks south, and two blocks west, of 72nd & Dodge Streets.

For whatever that's worth.

5. OMG, 72nd and Dodge! I used to live there. I went to Creighton and started working in Omaha. Lived there for a few years and loved it! Lots of wonderful memories.

6. I'm so glad. I can't even think about getting my busted neck seen to

Eye surgery is next Thursday. If I'm here Friday night, it went well and I still have enough vision to use the computer.

You know, I had to nadin "epidural," because it might as well have been backwards upside-down Japanese to me.

Apparently if one's fat, losing weight eliminates the need for this procedure.

And my good friend Omaha Steve would do well to lose at least, oh, circa 120 pounds; it'd take a load off him.

But this is probably why Omaha's Ed Norton would rather do the epidural thing, than that:

Quote
Epidural typically involves using the opiates fentanyl or sufentanil, with bupivacaine, Fentanyl is a powerful opioid with a potency 80 times that of morphine and side effects common to the opiate class. Sufentanil is another opiate, 5 to 10Xs more potent than Fentanyl.

This however doesn't sound so good:

Quote
The sensation of needing to urinate is diminished, which often requires the placement of a urinary catheter for the duration of the epidural.

This is interesting:

Quote
The following factors are associated with no pain relief, or block failure with epidurals:

    * Obesity
    * History of regular opiate use

So they are going to protest Crossroads Mall?

Ya know...if I feel good enough. I CAN BE THERE TOO! Its just a couple of hours away.
Maybe I can get a picture taken with him...

and ya know this can only help him get elected...standing with dirty hippies promoting communism is always a surefire way to win the hearts of middle America.

Now I need a sign that promotes something evil like, "Death-camps for bankers, we're coming for you!" That will make for a great photo with OS standing next to me. We can plaster OS's solidarity with wannabe murderers all over his district!

I don't know why. Half the mall is closed and the stores are empty. They usually go out front at the intersection and stand there yelling at cars as they go by. More then likely they will get rained on since there is a large chance of it happeneing today.

Well, remember, franksolich's mole on Skins's island is the direct opposite of franksolich here.
