Could have gone into the Military section, but I decided to put it here for more viewing.

Mt. Suribachi. Forward Observer's dream!...I don't think I've ever seen a picture from the top of the mountain looking down on the beach that way...damn the Jap's couldn't miss.

...and the WM taking pictures at the bottom of the dune has big feet. :-)
