The fundamental differences between OWS and the teabagger rallies.
1. OWS is a genuine grass-roots event that has grown in the 3 weeks it has existed. Teabagger rallies are a few hours, attended by followers of some media talking head who orchestrates the event.
2. As OWS has grown, celebrities and authorities have followed. Teabagger rallies are essentially celebrity events where the sheep can see and repeat lines from their radio or TV idol.
3. In the 3 weeks of OWS, it has continued to grow and at the same time, has been spawning similar events in other cities across the U.S. Teabagger rallies have been sporadic flash-in-the-pan events that have been dwindling in attendance.
4. Persons attending OWS in New York are at the site of the root causes of this nation's economic problems--Wall Street--and are calling them out. Teabagger rallies are held to allow a bunch of bigots to express their racism and ignorance of the issues. Typically, they are attended at public and government facilities where attendees denounce government programs as they're collecting unemployment, Social Security, etc, and don't see the irony of the whole thing.
Anything to add? Feel free.

The biggest celebrities of the TEA Party rallies have always been members that have risen to the forefront and have spoken openly and plainly.

Thundley, the chance that any of these DUmb****s will actually listen to the Tea Partiers is slightly less than the Obamessiah coming out and saying that his approach to jobs is rooted in Marx and Lenin.

The fundamental differences between OWS and the teabaggers...
is that we won the House, flipped 700 state seats and 10 governorships.
Isn't it funny how the OP is 180 degrees wrong on all counts? The 7 replies that followed just echo and parrot him. No critical thinking skills to borrow a favorite DUmmie catchphrase.

H5.
Socialism is all about not thinking for yourself.

The Tea Party was organic and grew. And they didn't have to bus in union workers. Also, the Tea Party rallies left the venues clean and disease-free, unlike the scumbags in OWS.
2. As OWS has grown, celebrities and authorities have followed. Teabagger rallies are essentially celebrity events where the sheep can see and repeat lines from their radio or TV idol.
Uhhh, yeah, because liberals have a monopoly on celebrities, most of whom barely finished high school and aren't well known for their superior intellects.
3. In the 3 weeks of OWS, it has continued to grow and at the same time, has been spawning similar events in other cities across the U.S. Teabagger rallies have been sporadic flash-in-the-pan events that have been dwindling in attendance.
False. Tea Party events were nationwide and they still meet. We'll see how OWS looks in 6 months, dipshit.
4. Persons attending OWS in New York are at the site of the root causes of this nation's economic problems--Wall Street--and are calling them out. Uhhh, the root cause is DC, not Wall Street. Wall Street's job isn't to provide guaranteed incomes to idiot freeloaders. Nor is it Washington's job. Also, it was DC that bailed out Wall Street, led in no small part by the RINO John McLame and the Marxist failure, Barry Sorento. Which brings up a question - when was Obama's mooslim conversion?
Anything to add? Feel free.
Yeah, you're completely divorced from reality, a moron, and unlikely to ever see a guaranteed salary for life.

Here are a few differences:
1. Tea Partiers believe in bathing and other forms of personal hygiene; The vast majority of OWS's attendees clearly do not.
2. Tea Partiers boot out those who openly express racist, anti- Semitic, or otherwise extremist sentiments (Who almost always turn out to be liberal infiltrators); OWS's attendees do no such thing for the open racists, anti- Semites, and other such extremists that attend.
3. Tea Partiers are law- abiding citizens who obey the law, treat the police with respect, and remain peaceful; OWS's attendees are a bunch of lawless thugs who refer to the police as "Pigs" to their faces, have zero respect for the law, and have no problem whatsoever resorting to violence and crime in their efforts.
4. Tea Partiers arrange their demonstrations in such a way as to not be an inconvenience to other passing citizens who are not involved (i.e. at one Tea Party I went to, the demonstrators numbered in the thousands, yet they all lined up along the sides of the road, in such as way as to neither block the normal flow of traffic on the road, nor hinder pedestrians on the sidewalks); In contrast, OWS's attendees deliberately go out of their way to inconvenience, agitate, and generally piss off passing citizens who are not involved, through such tactics as blocking public roads.
5. Due to Tea Partiers' belief in personal responsibility, they pick up after themselves, and after it's over, the Tea Partiers leave the demonstration area as clean as they found it, if not more so; In contrast, the OWS attendees (Many of whom self- righteously claim to be devoted environmentalists) do NOT pick up after themselves at all, preferring instead to leave their garbage strewn around everywhere (Keeping in mind that they love demonstrating in public areas such as parks), and after it's done, they leave any areas they congregated at looking like a garbage dump and smelling like a public toilet.
6. Tea Party events individually last a few hours each, because their attendees generally have jobs, families, or other such responsibilities that they cannot shirk for the sake of a political movement; In contrast, OWS's attendees are able to camp out in the areas they occupied for weeks on end, because they tend to be unemployed and have no such responsibilities to worry about, or if they do (i.e. college classes), they have no problem ditching them in favor of doing more protesting.
I may post again if I think of more.
