I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard a more offensive interview on MSNBC than the one I just heard from Lawrence O’Donnell with Herman Cain. In one interview O’Donnell managed to accuse Herman Cain of not only sitting on the sidelines during the civil rights movement, but also of dodging the Vietnam war. His contempt for a black Republican has never been more clear.
At one point in the interview, O’Donnell asked Cain where America would be right now if Rosa Parks took his dad’s advice to stay out of trouble and just sit in the back of the bus. Seriously. It was like he was trying to prove that Cain hadn’t earned his black skin or something. It was terribly offensive and I hope Cain never steps foot again in the studios of MSNBC.
I will say that Cain proved he could hold his own and not be rattled by the offensive assumptions of these whackos on MSNBC. He hit back in the interview several times but always kept his cool. He could have hit back more in my opinion but overall I think he did great.
It’s a long interview but it covers four main topics: Brainwashing, Civil Rights Movement, War dodging, and the 9-9-9 plan. Here’s the full interview:

It has been a long time since I wanted to punch a grown man in the face. But, after this, I would take great pride in both punching Lawrence in the face, but, kicking him in the ballz for good measure.

Sounds about right. The left is trying to portray him as an uncle tom. Can't let a true black man unset the halfrican that the racist left has picked.

This looks like a great interview, Sybill but I'll have to get back to it when I have more time to watch the whole thing.
Personally I can't stand that swarmy prick O'Donnell either. If ever there was a "journalist" that needed his teeth slapped right out of his head it is him.
Just to touch on the Vietnam thing, Herman Cain is a bit older than O'Duchebag and was of draftable age early in the conflict. He is a man of meager origins who worked his way to great success. Nonetheless he did not sit out the war on some Saskatchewan hippie commune growing dope as so many of O'Duchebag's compatriots did. He worked for the Department of the Navy as a civilian ballistics analyst developing fire control systems for naval vessels and combat aircraft. In other words he made a direct contribution to the war effort in service to his country.
What did O'Douchbag, a Boston elite trust fund baby who was of draftable age at the hieght of the war do? He wrote for a f*cking satirical comic book at Hah-vaad.

Why he did the show at all is anyone's guess.

What better way to show the bias of the leftist media than to let yourself be interviewed by them, and to be able to handle the crap they throw at you.
-
Cain did great!
He remained calm, kept on message, and really gave it back to O'Donnell. Of course, MSNBC is the minor leagues of the MSM, but it's a good place to start. The left will have its hands full with this guy.

When he essentially called Cain a coward for not voluntarily enlisting, I wanted to jump through the screen and beat the ever-living shit out of that slimy piece of shit. :censored:
Hey O'Donnell, you were born in 1951, the same year my father was born. Did YOU enlist? My father was in the United States Marine Corps. How about your sniveling ass?
-
for no reason other than his color:
Lawrence O'Donnell tries to pit Herman Cain as anti-black and a draft dodger in a bizarre interview that didn't seem have to a point other than to attack Mr. Cain. However, the GOP presidential candidate stayed on his feet throughout the entire interview and didn't let O'Donnell's mind games get to him.
Mr. Cain worked for the Navy in the field of ballistics during the war. Lawrence O'Donnell? He received a deferment since he was attending college.
O'Donnell tried to paint Cain as some sort of traitor to blacks because he didn't participate in protests and sit-ins during the Civil Rights era.
"I did not insult the intelligence of all black Americans," Herman Cain said about his 'brainwashing' comment. "I insulted the attitude of those that will not consider an alternate idea." He also said black voters "did not consider my statement insulting because a lot of them are thinking for themselves."
"Now, if they want to talk about insulting, they need to look at the president when he talks to the Congressional Black Caucus and insulted black people, in my opinion, by telling them to take off their slippers and put on their marching boots when he has had nothing but failed policies," Cain said in response to Lawrence accusing him of insulting black Americans.

O'Donnell was a Ranger/SEAL/LRRP point man in "Veet Nam". Just like about 1/2 of the entire Dhimmi'Rat party. [/stolen valor] :-)

Despite how bad of an interview that was and how big of an idiot the interviewer made himself look, Cain did a good job in my opinion. He kept calm, was polite and did a good job at defending himself.
I can only imagine Cain in particular will get a lot more of this as time goes on, but he looks like someone who can handle it...and handle it well.
I don't know who the interviewer is, but I can tell I don't want to know much more about him.
I do quite like Cain and it'd be interesting to see him go up against Obama.

Just imagine if anyone, anyone at all, had questioned Obama like this. :o
