Suggestion and a question regarding posts related to someone's weight or being fat.
I would like to suggest that questions in this forum be required to be posted in the Subject line. That way, people could quickly scan the posts to make sure they are not asking a question that was recently answered.
Hopefully my question hasn't been aswered just a few posts below. I was wondering if there were a rule regarding posts which are critical or insulting about public figures weight. A bunch have popped up recently, and I dont' care one way or the other if they are allowed, but I don't want to make comments that cross a line. Thanks.

1. Our rule about bigotry or insensitive posts states
"When discussing certain topics -- especially those relating to each human being's unique personal identity -- DU members have a responsibility to show greater understanding and sensitivity. To help promote a welcoming atmosphere for all of our members, the moderators are empowered to remove any post that they deem insensitive. Such topics include, but are not limited to: race or ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, religious believers or non-believers, Jews or Judaism, Muslims or Islam, geographic region or place of origin, disability (mental or physical), weight or other physical characteristics, or age. Moderators may also remove any post using insensitive terminology (eg: 'cocksucker,' 'pink tutu,' 'bitch,' 'whore,' 'retard,' etc.)."
If you see something that you think goes against that rule, alert on it and see if the moderators agree with you.
Well, we know how well their rule about bigotry works.

I bet no one burning the alert button when they were on the "Christy is a lard ass" kick.

religious believers
WTF? This rule is broken every minute. Why did they even bother to put it in? References to "their sky daddy" or "sky pal" abound. Isn't this insensitive to Muslims? How dare they?

Let someone post about Islam being founded by a pedophile and watch how fast the pizza gets delivered.
