If Sarah Palin were any dumber, she would need to be watered twice a week. But her supporters ...
make her appear to be brilliant by comparison.
You've been had, folks. A two-bit snowbilly grifter winked at you, so you bought her scribblings and donated to her PAC. This twit was NEVER going to run for President, if for no other reason than she didn't want to make Reagan's romp over Walter Mondale drop to second place in the pantheon of modern-day presidential election wipe-outs.
So suck it up, clowns. Stop the check if it's not too late, but otherwise learn to live with the fact that a marginally attractive half-wit not only convinced you that you had a chance with her; but she also conned you into paying for the privilege of being rejected.

Some people disagree with me but from reading her first book, I thought it was a very long shot that she would run.

You need to treat 11 Boo with respect. He was a valued member of the 101st Airborne Div. He was a highly decorated hero in a battle of a nondescript hill in Vietnam.
In fact, he became so famous that Hollywood made his exploits into a big time movie. You may have seen it. It's called "Hamburger Hill".
To protect his true identity, Hollywood made a few minor changes. In fact, the year that the conflict actually happened and the tale of 11 Boo are completely different.

The tidal wave for ABO in 2012 is going to be epic. At the very best for 0bama it will merely be the third worst defeat.
The coattails of ABO will also usher in a 58-61 republican majority and Hairy Reid will be very unhappy with the stunt he pulled today. Don't be too surprised with a fifth/sixth change in the HOR for the republicans.

Never underestimate the GOP's ability to **** up a golden opportunity handed to them on a silver platter.
Even with the right candidate, I still don't trust the GOP establishment. As much as I hate to say it, I think Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee. "It's his turn". That has been a boogeyman for the GOP longer than I've been alive. The old-money Yankees and the retired blue-hairs will turn out to vote for "that nice boy from Massachusetts". Watch and see.

And McCain, Dole, etc. Bush Sr. was the incumbent in '92, but that was a bad year. It's a habit that needs to go.

Until the GOP forces a change in their primary schedule, those of us in all the other states will be stuck voting for the leftovers. I liked the idea of a rotating schedule of regional primaries that was proposed in 2008, but the provincial assholes in Iowa and the other me-first'ers will never go for it.

I don't think that would help. You would just have different states bringing up the rear and not having a say so.
What's needed is for the Republican Party to go to a 100% closed primary in all states. Open primaries with same day registration with no ID to vote has to stop.

The Battle for Dak To mountain was not a minor little thing.at least it's not to those of us that have really served in the same units that fought there. The Battalion lost 50-60% of its strength trying to take that little hilltop.
One would expect that if you are going to claim to have fought that battle you could at least get the timeline right. 11 booboo still to this day has yet to explain why he got it so wrong or apologize for faking to gain street cred at DU.

Closed primaries would only help a little, but having all 57 primaries on the same day would be better.

I agree. I also think she will do more for conservatives in 2012 as a spokesperson and campaign supporter, than if she actually ran. If she ran, the MSM would attempt to eviscerate her at every opportunity and thereby take the focus off of the anointed one. It will be bad enough for Romney, Perry, Cain, or any other top tier candidate. But with her, it would be a feeding frenzy.

Only if we allow the MSM to dictate who they say we want.

I have just been listening to Herman Cain live on WBT radio....I like what he says.
...and he says that it's "the perople" driving his rise in the polls. The people are telling the GOP establishment this is what/who we want, not what you want.
He gave a short explanation of his 9-9-9 tax plan. I can live with it. It does away with a lot of other taxes and simplifies things....and it won't hurt the working poor since it does away with SS witholding also.

No kidding. Those who were hoodwinked by someone whose dim-witted thoughts come from reading a teleprompter have no room to point at others.
Once again, primitives have difficulty accepting that conservatives are more intelligent than they could ever hope to be. I, for one, have no problem reminding them that we are superior to them in both intellect and actions. They want to take me on, let them try. But when all is said and done, they'll be put in their place at the back of the bus, and then they'll be thankful I permit them to even be on the bus.

I think he served in the same non-existent Seal Team with TiTtyboy and DUmotex.
It's seared, seared I tell you, into his memory.

I don't know, for someone who's supposedly stupid she's certainly had a lot of influence in the country. She practically pulled the country to the right in the last election with her tireless campaigning. And she's got the balls to go out and say what's on her mind (and the majority of Americans) regardless of what's thrown at her. But as a bunch of wussies who follow the first person to give you a life time supply of vegan oatmeal cookies, I can understand your jealousy.

You're right. I just wish her voice didn't hurt my ears.
